Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

To provide shore-based support to vessels under his/her charge in terms of technical matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overall in charge of vessel operational expenses covering repairs, maintenance and other survey/certification requirements

JOB SPECIFICATION:

• At least 3 years of experience in marine-related industry with Sufficient expose of technical superintendent task
• Diploma/Degree in Marine Egnineering or equivalent preferably
• Preferably with experience in Offshore Support Vessel Industry
• Must be willing to travel and visit ships around the Southeast East Asia (SEA) Region
• Ability to converse in Bahasa-Malay would be an advantage as would need to liase with Indonesia Crew

About the team
The Plan Sealing team are responsible for the coordination of the assessment and endorsement of all survey plans submitted to the City before they are registered with the Titles Office. In this role, you will be working in a small and supportive team consisting of two technical officers and one Senior Plan Sealing officer and will directly report to the Supervisor Infrastructure Compliance 
About your new role
The Technical Officer Plan Sealing is responsible for the day-to-day processing and coordination of plan sealing applications, interpreting the information submitted on the applications, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and coordinating the final endorsement of the survey plan.
