We are currently seeking an interim Quality Control Analyst (Scientific), to work with our global FMCG client , renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position is based in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral - easily accessible by train and car. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 12 months, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying between £36,577 per annum.

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

The quality analyst is responsible for routine quality control of raw, intermediate and finished products. The analyst also ensures that any problems or issues are communicated and resolved. The role involves mostly independent working as part of team success and is critical to ensuring that all products that leave the factory meet consumer expectations and safety requirements.

Previous experience in a similar field or a science related degree is preferred, as well as good computing skills and being able to demonstrate an ability to think beyond the immediate next step is a plus

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

1. Safety

• Ensure Company safety policy, rules and procedures are understood and followed on all operational tasks and improvements
• Identify and report health or safety hazards and dangerous situations and put appropriate control measures in place

• Prepare, maintain, monitor and lead COSHH assessments (following suitable training) where required

• You will be responsible for supporting the Warehouse On-Site Lead with Operating Materials and Supplies program management, performing warehouse management/administrative functions, and conducting daily warehouse inventory management operations.
• You will establish warehouse management methods, procedures, and business practices to organize and locate assets and report on visibility and accountability of assets in compliance with governing policy.
• You will serve as a subject matter expert for warehouse management processes and operations, Navy ERP warehouse management functionality, and for performing procedural and operational taskings associated with day to day warehouse operations.
• You will provide procedural and operational guidance and advice, coordinate operational planning and gathers and analyze information to facilitate and support executive and operation decision making.
• You will develop, write, interpret, and promulgate technical and operational policies and procedures associated with project/application and analytical guidelines for use by other analysts.
