The Senior Asset Strategy Engineer will be primarily responsible for monitoring the performance of our Asset Management System; lead on our ambition to become a world class asset management organisation and support the development of asset management strategies to meet our key business objectives.

The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Asset Strategy Engineer are:

Essential Skills

• Fundamental equity analysis and strong financial modelling skills ; Strong grasp of investment analysis and portfolio management concepts, good financial modeling and data analysis skills

• Proficient with Bloomberg and/or other platforms (Factset, CapIQ etc), and able to extract market and fundamental related datasets to manipulate and illustrate arguments

Experience

Your Key Responsibilities

• Market studies, project structuring and financing of renewable energy/infrastructure projects

To qualify for the role you must have

• A minimum of two year’s relevant experience
• Have experience in the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors particularly; power and utilities, transport, resources, health and education sector projects.
• Experience in the UK and Australia in the PPP / PFI and project financing sector would be advantageous, as would Asian experience
• Knowledge of PPP/PFI, concessions and acquisition and project financing structures / contracts relate to the infrastructure sector advantageous
• An understanding of sustainable (green/social) infrastructure procurement and delivery
• Experience of developing government policy and regulation on all aspects of sustainable and project finance.
• Knowledge of project financing, understanding of project financial modelling and financing markets
• Fluency in both verbal and written English. Ability to read and write in a South East Asian language would be helpful

Ideally, you also have

• Advanced financial modelling skills, project finance modelling experience would be an advantage
