Sr. Market Strategy Director
Position Summary:
Responsible for meaningfully impacting the growth of the organization by supporting strategic partnership activities with health system and provider group organizations. Is established or can quickly establish themselves as an industry expert and key partner on the growth team, able to represent Lumeris and Lumeris’ comprehensive value-based solutions with healthcare delivery organizations, ad hoc, at industry events, and within key industry circles. Responsible for developing and fostering large channels across a national geography. Impacts how healthcare is being delivered in the United States while working with top healthcare delivery organizations to establish strategic direction as the convergence between healthcare payers and providers continues.
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities
- Takes ownership for the expansion of development activities (e.g., industry events, key channel partnerships, in-market events) improving lead development and opportunity qualification while serving as the trusted, consultative advisor to the external organization and internal Lumeris team through partnership establishment.
- Maintains a reputation as a thought leader and an influencing voice in the ongoing evolution of healthcare in the United States.
- Nurtures strong prospective client relationships and establishes executive credibility with members of both client and internal leadership teams.
- Partners to develop and guide tip-of-the-spear development activities impacting solution positioning and execution to achieve growth goals and sales funnel development.
- Engages with healthcare decision-makers to develop relationships with large integrated delivery networks (IDNs), hospital systems, payer organizations, and physician practice groups.
- Guides discovery dialogue with prospective client executive teams to understand business priorities, and in a consultative manner, relate Lumeris solutions to the client needs.
- Develops and fosters development channels by establishing and maintaining relationships with key influencers whether that be consultants, industry leaders or anyone else that has access to the C-Suite of Lumeris potential partner.
- Guides internal collaboration in tandem with members of the executive team on key accounts to help close and win new business.
- Motivates project-based teams to achieve personal and organization goals working closely with growth support functions across the internal organization.
- Works closely with executives on product positioning, industry research, market strategy, and annual strategic planning.
- Sustain a comprehensive understanding of Lumeris solutions, including the process, methodology technology and services we provide and display a deep understanding as to how they create an impact on outcomes and partner organizations key results.
- Maintains a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare marketplace applicable to Lumeris.
- Participates and/or presents in relevant industry conferences and associations.
- Executes targeted growth development campaigns around specific functionalities, services, and/or product enhancements.
- Travel to industry events, prospect organizations, and clients to meet key contacts and present solutions, facilitate meetings to grow the qualified partnership pipeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent
- 12+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
- Advanced knowledge of sales ethics and best practices with experience in a structured/regulated sales organization
- Excellent market development skills with an existing network and established presence within the provider community
- Extensive experience operating, developing solutions, or selling consulting solutions or enterprise applications to hospital systems, payers, and other entities in the healthcare industry
- Highly skilled in solution-based strategic selling within provider organizations or payers
- Strong healthcare system acumen (delivery, reimbursement, and managed care)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Healthcare experience and a deep understanding of healthcare strategy, population health, managed care, accountable care organizations (ACOs), and value-based contracting including the movement of risk to provider organizations and the operating capabilities required for success in risk-based models
- Extensive knowledge within the hospital, physician, and payer ecosystem
- Proven ability to identify, qualify, and establish deep relationships to support the development of Lumeris’ high growth business
Preferred
- Master's degree in related field (Health Administration, Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, etc.)

$153,800.00-$210,650.00
