The Manager of Field Application Specialists will be responsible for developing and growing local product application support team's capability to meet the Business Unit focus market segments and related customer requirement, fit the organization's technical leading position with its image as a solution provider. Requirements

• A proven history of success in product management roles: min 5 years in product management and have grown to lead product manager roles and have shipped products as an individual contributor and also have led teams to ship products with well defined metrics
• People management experience: you’ve been responsible for performance management, have navigated tough conversations with direct reports, and you feel comfortable supporting product managers to achieve their career goals
• Entrepreneurial mindset: you must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, thriving in ambiguity, and getting the work done with uncertainties and able to react fast to change when needed
• Prior experience in owning / driving the building and shipping of complex, SaaS products at scale is preferred, must have good understanding about B2B products, compared to B2C products

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Network Engineer, Network Infrastructure plays a crucial role in managing the organization's network infrastructure. This position requires a strong technical background, proficiency in project management, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the network, as well as implementing and maintaining network technologies.

This role serves as technical experts and participate in or oversee a variety of analytical and technical assignments that provide for problem diagnosis and solutions documentation, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of a variety of hardware, software, and network products in an information technology infrastructure environment. The role is broadly split between providing day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services and users of those services, and project-based work leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and support for the network services and experience working in LAN/WAN/WLAN/SDN/IPS/ISE. Implement and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design network solutions that align with business objectives and ensure scalability, security, and performance. Configure and optimize network devices to ensure seamless connectivity, data transmission, and network performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and implement necessary changes to optimize network performance and ensure high availability.
• Implement network security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and monitoring tools, to protect the organization's data and systems. Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

• Able to perform as the role of Project Lead / Coordinator in project management for small to medium size projects or Service Requests. Work closely with Project Manager / Service Delivery Manager to fulfil project deliverables and operational request. Able to establish TAC cases with the principal vendor for complex problem until it is resolved.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 or more years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on implementing and maintaining network infrastructures.
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting various network devices. Strong knowledge of network protocols, and advanced in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF.
• Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, Web proxy and VPN technologies.
• Knowledge of advanced multicast routing and QOS, relevant network certifications such as CCNA, HCIA. Experience with Software Define Network technologies such as Cisco ACI and is a plus.
• Solid understanding of network monitoring tools and protocols with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

• Evaluate and record Masters' and Chief Engineers' performance, as described in prevailing company documents, and vessel management in close cooperation with the crewing team
• Closely monitor guarantee defects, liaise with yards for successful claims and ensure repairs are closed out effectively
• Develop, monitor and control running cost budgets in accordance with company procedures, goals and applicable KPI's
• Implement procedures laid out in the company quality manuals and other instructions as issued by management including updating records, drawings, manuals etc in accordance with applicable Management of Change routines
• Actively participate and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 7 years of sailing experience
• At least 2 years' experience at sea as a Chief Engineer or a Senior Second Engineer
• Chief Engineer's License preferred
• Experience of sailing on LPG/LNG vessels or handling of vessels with MEGI engine as Superintendent preferred.
• Able to travel and visit vessels when required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and in a team setting.
