• This position will perform research and development activities related to the O&M Global Products Portfolio.  This person will lead R&D activities on small-large projects, support senior engineers on larger programs, and mentor junior engineers. The Harris Novum Healthcare Software Business (HSB) Intern Program has three main objectives: 

Objectives 

• Grow experience: provide undergraduate students with a first (or near-first) experience working within an industry-leading healthcare software business

Process or systems technology transfer:

• Support implementation of new technology within Capsugel affiliates in conjunction with TS or divisional project teams

• Organize and execute process, systems, equipment or methods validation in support of technology transfer following Corporate and Capsugel guidelines

• Provide appropriate drawings, samples, process or equipment manuals in support of technology documentation packages.

Development and training:

• Assist in training and functional guidance of end users of new process technology and system development introductions

• Identify additional training requirements and arrange internal, external resources as required

• Design and prepare process or systems manuals to facilitate ‘top-class’ technology transfer practice within Capsugel.

Key requirements:

• Master or PhD (of science) in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering

• Significant industrial experience including a proven project and systems development management record

• Fluent in English, good knowledge in Dutch and in French, German is an asset

• The job requires a presence every day on the site of Bornem

• Team player and hand on mentality

Responsibility:

1. To perform existing software enhancement, integration, troubleshoot, analysis, design & testing including documenting.
2. To provide onsite support on debugging, integration, trouble-shoot and testing of existing and new software.
3. To provide software update & training to client, peers and colleague from various department.

Requirements:

1. Software development experience in GUI, drivers and Linux-base development.
2. Knowledge in C, C++, C# programme for software development.
3. Experience and knowledge withi) .net framework

4. Experience working with Security System software and application will be an added advantage.

5. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a degree from another Scientific discipline and show a high aptitude in software development

7. 1-2 years working experience required however entry level candidates are welcome too.

• Master / PhD in materials science (metal, prefer Titanium/Aluminium/Stainless Steel).
• Familiar in the production of AM powder production.
• Familiar with metal AM printing technology (preferably metal laser bed powder fusion).
• At least 3 years of relevant research or work experience.
