RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of Operations Manager (OM) is to be responsible for the strategic management of the school environment, including estate, facilities, resources (inventories/supplies) and processes, to achieve school's objectives as well as day-to-day operations. The OM also plays a key role in school safety and security, overseeing risk-management, health matters and emergency preparedness processes.

As part of the management team, the OM will also contribute towards organizational decision-making and participate in general executive and non-executive functions that the team undertakes. Job Description:

• Perform basic physical quality check on all incoming & outgoing stocks in warehouse
• Check the accuracy of SKU ID & quantity for all incoming & outgoing stocks against their respective documentation
• Perform corresponding accurate receipt & issuance in the company’s ERP system
• Perform value added services e.g Sticker labelling on stocks
• Generate stock inventory reports twice a month for billing purposes
• Maintain a clean, neat & organized warehouse for ease of stock identification & stock retrieval
• Perform daily stock cycle count checks at the end of day (Only for stocks that has incoming/outgoing movements that day)
• Process Returned stocks as per client's SOP
• Responsible for basic risk management & security of the stocks in the warehouse

Our client owns and operates the world's largest fleet of gas carriers providing seaborne services for the transportation of liquefied petroleum gas and petrochemicals. They are looking for seasoned mariner to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operational aspects of a group of vessels covering navigation, mooring, deck equipment, safety equipment, Port arrival / departure & STS operations and general condition.
• Manage and ensure safe cargo operations of loading / discharging, grade change, tank preparation.
• Work with the Technical team for Drydock specification, planning and execution.
• Responsible for the vessel's 3rd party inspections (example: SIRE, CDI, PSC, USCG, Terminal, Flag)
• Conduct Management Inspections and Internal audits on ships. Identify areas for improvement and verify implementation of the corrective and preventive action.
• Review and respond to vessel reports Navigational, Safety, Inspections, Internal audits, Near misses, Incidents/Accidents.
• Liaise with parties such as Class, Oil Majors, Ship Owners, Suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure vessels are certificated in accordance to international regulations.
• Review vessels record keeping and documentation to comply to international and company’s regulations
• Prepare and conduct trainings for officers and crew.
• Conduct safety, environmental and security drills onboard to assess effectiveness.
• Conduct appraisals of Officers and recommend actions.
• Conduct investigation of incidents/accidents on board when appointed to do so by the Fleet Managers.

Job Requirements:

• Holding Master Mariner Certificate of Competency.
• Sailing experience as a Master or Chief Officer on LPG / Ethylene / Ethane Vessels
• No shore experience required
• Ability to travel at short notice and manage 24/7 on call lifestyle.
• Ability to develop, improve and implement safe, and cost-effective technical vessel management processes.
• An in-depth knowledge of the rules and regulations governing vessels' management.
• Committed and responsible in meeting deadlines with excellent time management skills.
• Independent, outcome driven, organized and resourceful.
• Strong team orientation and has the ability to manage cross-functional relationships in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
