Role and Responsibilities

Support procurement-relevant activities such as, but not limited to, updating PO details based on internal requirements and closure of PO thereafter.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on the resolution of PO discrepancy issues vs. vendors’ billing
Assist on invoice processing issues with vendors, internal parties and Finance, e.g. discrepancies, incorrect invoices or incomplete in supporting documents.
Ensure completeness of documents to support all billing including PO, vendor invoices, acknowledged Delivery Notes and other supporting documents.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $82,100-$172,400. Your new role
You will be working as a compliance and risk team lead, with responsibility for running, managing and developing a small but vital team for the success of the business. You will be responsible for developing and enforcing the process of engaging with and onboarding new suppliers. You will manage the risk compliance for a vast supplier database, ensuring that all vendors are compliant with the businesses requirements and agreed upon KPI's/SLA's in this space. You will work closely with the wider procurement team to develop and implement plans to mitigate business risk.


What you'll need to succeed
You should have strong understanding of compliance/governance procedures, particularly within the procurement function of a business. You will need to have previous experience working within an FM/Construction business where regulations and compliance checks will be similar. You should be highly motivated and driven with the ability to effectively prioritise and manage workload within this role. Experience leading or managing a team would be ideal, however is not a pre-requisite for this position. You will need to be able to travel to the central London office 2 days a week, as well as other business sites ad-hoc.

Your new company
You will be working with one of the UK's leading construction and engineering consultancy firm, with offices up and down the UK. You will be supporting on some of the largest Infrastructure or IT Procurement transformation projects being undertaken in the UK.

Your new role
You will be working within the Special Projects advisory team - supporting on a variety of large-scale procurement transformation projects covering a wide array of industries, categories and time frames. You will be supporting a wide variety of end clients with full scale category transformation, process improvement and supplier consolidation projects to name a few. You will frequently engage with senior internal and external stakeholders, across both public and private sector clients. You will work both on client site and remotely from your home within this role, with occasional travel to business offices in Central London.
