We’re currently looking for a Purchasing Supplier Quality Development Intern to join our Purchasing team.  The position will be located at our Headquarters in Franklin, TN and will be a full-time role for the summer of 2024.

• One of the projects we are leaning towards for our intern is helping to digitize some of the audits.

• Looking for someone that is interested in manufacturing, can grasp the technical concepts of the evaluations (incoming inspection, process control, operator training, error proofing, etc.), and move the audit from paper to an app.

• The intern will need to learn the existing audit, do computer work to move it to the app, and travel to supplier plants to do trials with the new system.

• Track and report on status of sourcing, cost reductions, process improvements, and other defined goals

As a Lead International Trade Specialist (MP), you will perform the following duties:

• Implements significant new U.S. business facilitation and investment/trade promotion strategies
• Recognizes the relevance of information, and evaluates information from multiple sources to develop options to solve complex problems
