Job Summary

Main Responsibilities

1. Coordinate maintenance contractors, review checklists and ensure customer D.O. sign-off within the time.

Overall Job Purpose:

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform shift duty and specialize in Gas/Chemical system operations, preventive maintenance, and emergency response.
• Operate and maintain gas, chemical, and tank car filling supply systems.
• Execute system hook-ups and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Implement cost control and cost reduction activities.
• Manage vendors and evaluate 2nd source vendors.
• Plan and order critical spares and consumables items.
• Formulate FMEA for systems and implement risk-reduction measures.
• Monitor SPC by daily reviewing trend charts.
• Develop and review Operational Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Assist in preparing yearly expense and CAPEX budget.
• Contribute effectively as a team member in department task forces, committees, and special projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
• Preferably, 2 years of relevant experience in plant facilities system operation and maintenance.
• Minimum requirement of 1 year of semiconductor working experience preferred.
• Possess good interpersonal skills, proactivity, and observation skills.
• Proficient in PPT, Excel, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to perform rotational shifts.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an IoT Maintenance Engineer at I.O.T. Workz located in Singapore. As an IoT Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the monthly maintenance and repair of IoT equipment. This includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IoT systems. Your role will also involve monitoring and analyzing maintenance data, generating monthly reports, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary repairs and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Experience in Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering, and Maintenance & Repair
• Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance and Electrical Maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with IoT systems is a plus
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in Maintenance Engineering or related field

BROAD  FUNCTIONS : 

• Provides engineering and technical support to operation and maintenance team in RODI. 
• Possesses required RODI experience in design, integrity and performance of equipment, systems and services as per engineering specifications and relevant codes and practices.
• Manage the development and delivery of nominated small projects.
• Leads the development and implementation of the RODI’s mid/long term reliability strategy
• Leads and manage a group of out-sourced engineers and technicians in all aspect of RODI work e.g. lead in technical know-how, daily and ad hoc meetings, settle complex issues, derive work plan & repair scheme, manage budget etc.
• Delegates tasks and routine work effectively to outsourced engineers and technicians.
• Identify the needs of the Facilities Equipment maintenance and draw the necessary maintenance plans & execute.
• Supervise the task of drafting and update RODI layout as and when required.
• Hands on in identifying and troubleshooting issues faced on daily and routine basis.
• Communicate effectively with Facilities manager for all relevant information relating to his responsibilities                                                                                                    

Regular

• Ensure all RODI equipment are functioning and performing in tip-top condition and the operations & operations of the RODI are not disrupted.
• Update on the PM schedule, history report and filing.
• Plan and come out with monthly, quarterly and yearly budget.  Follow closely the spending for RODI and reconcile with finance reported figures.
• Regular meeting with Engineer to discuss on the improvement plans and also on problem solving

Irregular

• Report out any abnormal condition and breakdown to superior
• Conduct investigation and troubleshooting for issue and come up with holistic solution.
• Coordinate & perform on the repairing, servicing & installing equipment/system within the area of responsibilities
