b) The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

vii) Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.

Job Requirements

- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Mininum 2 - 5 years' experience working in construction industry

- Have experience with HDB projects

• Assist the PD/PM in overseeing the construction activities and progress, planing, implementataion, and monitoring work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work program.
• Review drawings, plans and change orders to verify the structural integrity of materials and designs, and perform complex calculations and use modelling methods to ensure correct results.
• Prepare & submit shop drawings, materials and necessary documents to consultant for approval.
• Ensure progress in accordance with the schedule, quality standrads are maintained, site inspections are carried out and technical/drawing issues are resolved on time.
• Prepare & attend RTO inspection, attend site meeting.
• Liaise with consultants/authorities on drawing and technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors.
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to site works.
• Ensure site safety and prepare safe work procedures with safety personnel.
• Check on quality of materials and workmanship by ensuring correct use of materials.
• Organize & deploy resource / material for project, attend site matters & complains related to projcet sites.
