You will:

• Demonstrate an expertise and understanding of LMS functions and features.
• Effectively implement and administer the Learning Management Systems (LMS) including system configuration, deployment, and use for all Seagate employees. Creates course components, modifies course configurations, and creates insightful reports.
• Manage and maintain all areas, content, and user configuration within the system.
• Collaborate with necessary departments to maintain function, relevancy and accuracy of systems and integration.
• Anticipate the potential downstream impact of LMS functions and quickly responds and/or escalates outcomes.
• Identifie and communicate opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, challenges, and suggested enhancements.
• Write and maintain technical procedures, policy documentation and best practice guides.
• Generate and utilize standard documented protocols for LMS functions to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Liaise with other teams and individuals to implement the best learning practices and maintain relevant team content libraries.
• Create and manage the overall course structure and sets up course programs based on specifications from the instructional designer.
• Build online assessments, evaluations, and interactivity with the LMS for courses.
• Manage relationship with third party LMS vendor.
• Single point of accountability for all user challenges, escalations, inquiries, and feedback.

We are now looking for a Lecturer in Production Arts – someone who has experience of working in a backstage environment.

Within the role, you will deliver exciting and industry relevant skills and knowledge to students on our popular practical vocational courses from Level 2 to Level 5. Our in-house theatre hosts a vast number of internal and external productions throughout the academic year, providing a vocational work setting to instil practical skills and work based learning behaviours.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Technical Theatre abilities and knowledge to effectively teach a range of theatre production skills including Stage Management (ASM, DSM, SM), Front of House, Lighting Design & Operation, Sound Design & Operation, Set/Prop Design & Scenic Construction. Costume, Wardrobe and Theatrical/Media Make-Up skills would be beneficial but are not essential. Experience of a professional theatre setting working with software such as Qlab, ETC and Creative Cloud and/or a willingness to gain these skills to a high level of competency is required.

Support the Senior Administrator with Trust induction activities Support the Training and Learning Manger with mandatory training and appraisal initiatives Remain up to date with the Core Skills Training Framework requirements Advise staff on the Annual Performance and Development Review Process Prioritise own workload in line with service needs ensuring that critical deadlines are met To work effectively as a member of the Training and Learning Team undertaking a full range of administrative tasks. To aim to meet the expectations of our customers at all times by aiming to meet the Training and Learning departments service standards Support the wider Training and Learning team with duties appropriate to the grade as required. Any other duties appropriate to the grade as required ESR/ OLM Administrative Support To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of e-learning bookings, requests and completions. Create e-learning accounts for new starters To monitor the e-learning mailbox, identifying actions required for each request and acting accordingly. To provide support for e-learning users, assisting with login problems, course enrolment enquiries and simple e-learning functionality problems. Input training and appraisal data as required. Support the wider Training and Learning team with the implementation of Supervisor Self Service. Self Service and Manager Self Service Support the wider Team with ESR/ OLM development projects To assist with the provision of supported e-learning sessions.
