The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for revenue generation from existing customers, by retaining and maintaining relationships, growing Sales and driving exhibitor attendance. The role, which is part of the Sales Management function, will manage select customer Sales and will be targeted on their retention and growth. The role will focus on a certain brand (products/events) whilst developing flexibility to work across multiple brands. Delivery

● To work within the procurement legislation to ensure compliance of contracts decisions in line with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the council’s contract regulation
● Providing professional commissioning and procurement project support to commissioning leads across the Council
● Manages, develops and maintains productive and collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to maximise the understanding of commissioning and procurement to deliver positive outcomes
● Managing projects on the e-tendering portal and preparing tender documentation
● Carrying out research, benchmarking and market analysis to drive a focus on the most efficient and effective use of resources to inform commissioning plans
● Maintaining the Council’s commissioning and procurement guidance materials and templates
● Managing the procurement governance/gateway process to ensure timely and informed commercial decisions
● Contribute to/lead development of strategic gateway reports and briefings for Senior Managers and the Commissioning Governance Board
● Delivering high value and low value and routine procurement projects
● Providing introductory training and support for the e-tendering system
● Continuously look at how the Commissioning function can be improved including actively seeking and responding to customer feedback
● Operates in a highly political and sensitive environment and contributes to briefing notes for the Elected Members on areas relating to procurement as required

Your role at Vertice.

Reporting to the VP of Sales (APAC) and working closely with the rest of the Sales team in the UK/US as well as the founders, you will be responsible for securing new business across APAC and have a unique opportunity to help shape how we engage this market and new business acquisition. This is a new region and team for us so there is a lot of potential to make a huge impact right away and to really develop and grow the role as the team expands.

• Be responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting, qualifying, carrying out demo’s through to closing deals.
• Master our product, know the capabilities inside and out, understand the industry and be able to articulate the value of Vertice to Heads of Finance and CFO’s.
• Work across departments (Marketing, Product, etc.) to determine the most effective approach for each sales opportunity
• Work closely with our VP Sales to refine your sales skills with regular sales training session

• 2+ years as a Sales Executive, selling SaaS products in a closing role
