Job description

Plan, execute, monitor and evaluate Community Partnership’s strategy, through a myriad of programmes, initiatives, activities and campaigns

Volunteer Management

• Maintain and grow volunteer base through outreach to individuals, community-based groups, and large corporates

• Implement volunteer management policies, practices, and processes

• Execute and evaluate volunteer publicity and recruitment efforts, orientation, training, volunteer recognition and engagement activities

• Assess in-house requirements for volunteers, and evaluate the effectiveness of volunteers/volunteer partnerships

• Manage volunteer database and prepare timely and consolidated progress reports on budget and statistics

• Be the custodian of the Volunteer inbox, relevant EDMs, and Telegram channel

• Ensure that volunteers are matched with suitable opportunities that are in line with their interests/skills so as to increase positive volunteer experiences

Job Scope

Assist HOD Corporate Services to develop and conduct the company’s communications and marketing programmes, fundraising events and campaigns, donors relations and outreach activities with community partners.

Main Job Role:

1. Communications and Marketing Development (internal and external stakeholders)

Duties and responsibilities include:

A. Communications and Marketing Plan

• Execute the annual communications and marketing plan
• Design and execute the content for the company’s marketing collaterals (newsletter, annual reports, flyers, campaign posters, etc)
• Design and execute online digital fundraising campaigns, programme brochures, press releases, direct mailers, sponsorship letters
• Assist the programmes team to produce original content and continue building up our internal record of community based stories by interviewing individuals and corporates and partners
• Pitch stories with various media platforms, traditional & digital for branding purposes
• Monitor and update key digital marketing tools like SEO, Google Analytics for review and reporting to internal and external stakeholders

B Relationship Partnership Development

• Develop and implement the company fundraising events and campaigns at targeted audience

• Maintain key donor accounts (new and existing) using the Donor Management System for donor segmentation and donor lifecycle
• Identify and develop new partnerships in fundraising and donors relationship

Technical Competencies:

Jia Ying Community Services Society is a charity organization. Jia Ying has been appointed by the Ministry of Health and the Agency for Integrated Care as an active ageing centre.

The partnership and community relations executive supports Jia Ying Active Ageing Centre in reaching out to potential donors, corporate partners and volunteers to help, heal and honour seniors and their families in our community. He/She will curate social media campaigns, events and activities for fund-raising, corporate partnerships and sponsorships.

Communications

1. Executive integrated communication efforts to reach out to different stakeholders.

Donors and volunteers continue to be the bloodline of AWWA, one of Singapore’s largest social service agencies. With over 25 different services within a single organisation, this is an exciting opportunity for one to fuse a passion for storytelling, stakeholder engagement and project management skills to drive AWWA’s mission of supporting early childhood education, children with developmental needs, families with complex social issues, the elderly, and persons with additional needs so that they remain integrated and included in their communities.

As we appreciate diversity in our team, each member is required to be effectively bilingual (in English and one other vernacular language). The incumbent will be a strong relationship builder and spokesperson for services and accounts under their purview. They will seek out opportunities to grow AWWA’s base of partnerships and community support via donor and volunteer stewardship, engagement and communications, and the crafting of workplans and strategies.
