Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator plans, directs, and controls vehicle scheduling, allocation. The Operations Coordinator is also in charge of dispatching and communication functions to effect economical utilization of vehicle facilities. Will communicate with truck drivers through computers, or phones and will assign drivers to routes.
Essential Functions
First point of contact for all drivers and customer calls including but not limited to backhaul information, routing, customer hours-address-phone numbers, delivery times, driver locations, and any other concerns of drivers or customer personnel.
Sets schedules, routes, and assigns drivers and vehicles.
Recruits and monitors progression of new drivers.
Check in drivers as they arrive from their runs ensuring that all paperwork is completed and correct. Determine available starting times for their next dispatch.
Completes data entry to update trip data in TMW system.
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance by advocating all company best practices developed attain all related goals.
Identify and prepare a list of available drivers for the next schedule of deliveries bearing in mind available hours, DOT regulations/compliance and customer needs.

SUMMARY
Design reliable, functional and cost effective electrical systems. Provide product definition through bills of material and appropriate documentation for new and revised electrical system designs. Ensure the smooth flow of operations within the engineering department by optimizing engineering design(s) for manufacturing process efficiency and effectiveness. Focus on minimizing number of parts in a product design to reduce cost, eliminate waste, and minimize opportunities for defects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare engineering drawings, layouts and schematics using computer aided design software.
2. Create Bills of Material (BOM).
3. Select materials for engineered parts.
4. Dimension and tolerance drawings to ensure proper assembly fit.
5. Conform to drafting standards and department policies.
6. Prepare engineering change notices (ECN).
7. Consult and coordinate with suppliers.
8. Checks own work and that of others.
9. Works independently with minimal direction.
10. Maintain a working knowledge of One World, PRIDE and PC network systems.
11. Support Customer Service with direction on electrical and multiplexing related field problems.
12. Support manufacturing with direction on electrical and multiplexing related questions, features and upgrades.
13. Support Production Specialists with direction on option configuration.

Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline with at least 10 years technical experience. Additional relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
Experience with PostgreSQL in Linux including high-availability and backup/recovery
Experience with database auditing, logging configuration, performance tuning, and STIGs
Experience with database support tools (e.g. DBeaver, SQL Developer, Liquibase)
Experience with SQL and SQL tuning
Experience with development/deployment tools (e.g., Gitlab, Maven)
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Azure Cloud services
Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell)
Ability to support and troubleshoot issues on common Operating Systems (e.g. Linux, Windows)
