In this Product Management role, you’ll benefit from our heavy investment in R&D as you build and roll-out new products for the rapidly changing fintech landscape. In order to advance the way the world pays, you’ll manage life-cycle planning activities for the delivery of new products and ensure changes in market and business priorities are accounted for.

What you will be doing
As a Product Manager for our APAC Strategic Expansion team, you will be an internal and external champion driving the creation of products that provide top and bottom-line benefits to many of the largest eCommerce and brick and mortar merchants in the world.
You will be working with Product Owners and Commercial teams to build and maintain best-in-class products, capabilities, and services to support our global Enterprise customers.

You will be responsible for:
- Building an integrated view of customer needs, market trends and competitive position
- Assessing customer and business requirements – consolidating views from market experts, sales, and top-tier global merchants.
- Developing a product roadmap and translate requirements into features and change requests.
- Identifying areas of commercial value and defining product propositions built on solid business cases.
- Identifying areas where we need to complement Worldpay capabilities with potential partners, managing relationships and commercial agreements with those partners.
- Support decision-making and development prioritization via thorough analysis and recommendations. Including facilitating make/buy decisions where applicable.
- Work with go-to-market and Sales Enablement teams to deliver go-to-market strategy with clear customer segmentation, targeting and positioning.
- Be the subject matter expert and champion of your region’s products and transfer product expertise across organization with training and advocacy.
- Lead the development of product marketing, from sales toolkits through to detailed technical documentation.
- Supporting proposition queries by engaging with the sales team and top tier customers.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of trends in the POS and ecommerce payment industry.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you bring:
- Industry experience in Payments or related technologies. Sound understanding of POS and online merchant payment acceptance ecosystem, merchant acquiring capabilities and Card payments processing value chain.
- Knowledge of card schemes, alternative payment methods and merchant acquiring value added services.
- Proven track record of success in product management, product development and innovation.
- Strong analytical skills to support decision-making process both through financial modelling and other data-driven analyses.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, working with functional areas across an organization including sales, operations, delivery, and technology teams.
- Team player skills, comfortable collaborating within own team and leading cross-functionally.
- Strong will to win, highly motivated with a desire to drive results.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Possess a tertiary education with at least five years of experience in a similar role, preferably working for a large corporations, Banking or Financial Services Institutions.
Added bonus if you have:
- Experience in delivering value propositions for large cross-border enterprise merchants that operate in the omnichannel payments space.
- Experience managing product development with an agile methodology, e.g. SAFe, with competence utilizing project management software (e.g. Rally) to write concise user stories to communicate with the Engineering and QA teams and to ensure feasibility.
