What You’ll Be Doing

As a Digital Marketing Writer, you'll be using your writing skills to craft engaging content to support CIBC’s digital marketing campaigns. Working within an Agile Marketing pod, you will collaborate with teams from across the bank to bring CIBC's brand to life and help guide clients to the right financial products for them.

• Content creation: You will work collaboratively to create content for web pages, online ads, paid search, and other digital marketing materials. Your content will integrate accessibility and SEO best practices and will meet CIBC's editorial and voice and tone standards.

Job Description:

SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for research, planning, and driving of marketing strategy globally for our Print, Bag, and Mail technologies and machinery.

The ideal candidate is someone who has a deep understanding of the industry, its main players, market dynamics, and maintains engagement with relevant associations to stay up-to-date with the latest developments. This individual should be a skilled team member who can analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources, draw meaningful conclusions, and develop a long-term growth strategy that can be executed effectively.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Engage with product line managers, product marketing, industry associations and customer groups to understand the key macro, commercial and latent drivers of purchase decisions.
• Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan, focused on the key activities which can yield the greatest commercial gain.
• Establish metrics defining campaign performance; modifies campaign based on ROI analysis.
• Educate, collaborate, and motivate a team of peers who will be key to translating strategy to executable tactics.
• Be highly visible in the communication of the strategy and hands on in the execution.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Engineering
• At least 5 - 8 years of experience in at least Commercial Printing, and ideally, Bag manufacturing and or mailing solutions for the direct mail industry
• You have held a similar or related position in the past and have clear examples how you can prove this in your career.

Required Qualifications
