The Maintenance Services Controllers primary purpose is to support the team in effectively managing our fleet of passenger and light commercial vehicles throughout their life by providing cost effective solutions to repairs whilst maintaining exceptional levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

• To authorise mechanical repairs and routine maintenance to private use and fleet vehicles, in accordance with the manufacturer's service requirements and VWFS budgetary controls.
• Make sound technical decisions by analysing the causes of mechanical failures, evaluating solutions and ensuring that sound financial decisions are negotiated and implemented on a day to day basis using agreed authority levels.
• Have the ability to diagnose technical reports and translate the findings to an end user with a clear non-technical approach.
• Acting as a key point of contact for colleagues across Fleet to ensure that customer queries are dealt with in an efficient, timely and professional manner creating win-win situations in all instances.
• The ability to communicate in all mediums effectively to maximise customer satisfaction levels, reduce vehicle downtime incidents, and identifying common themes to control expenditure.

The Role:
Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Take requests for maintenance from centres and entering them into the computerised management system.
• Process requests for maintenance and facilities services have been made by centres using telephone or email systems, ensuring all information is entered correctly before forwarding the request to the approved contractor.
• Assist the management team in obtaining best practice for all the Facilities and Facilities Services provided.
• Review daily work levels, backlogs or delays and ensure this is communicated to the appropriate manager and centre directors where required.
• Provide the first point of contact for the Facilities team and deal with initial enquiries, whether verbal or written, and exercise judgement as to the appropriate response, taking immediate action if necessary.
• Adhere to budget constraints and report on financials on a weekly basis.
• Carry out invoicing duties as and when required.

Key skills and experience

• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in facilities management or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a knack for technical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in using ticketing systems, databases, and basic office software.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging customer interactions.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Maintenance Controller

About the role

This role reports to the Maintenance Services Team Manager and forms part of the Maintenance department within Fleet. The Maintenance Services Controllers primary purpose is to support the team in effectively managing our fleet of passenger and light commercial vehicles throughout their life by providing cost effective solutions to repairs whilst maintaining exceptional levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

• To authorise mechanical repairs and routine maintenance to private use and fleet vehicles, in accordance with the manufacturer's service requirements and VWFS budgetary controls.
• Make sound technical decisions by analysing the causes of mechanical failures, evaluating solutions and ensuring that sound financial decisions are negotiated and implemented on a day to day basis using agreed authority levels.
• Have the ability to diagnose technical reports and translate the findings to an end user with a clear non-technical approach.
• Acting as a key point of contact for colleagues across Fleet to ensure that customer queries are dealt with in an efficient, timely and professional manner creating win-win situations in all instances.
• The ability to communicate in all mediums effectively to maximise customer satisfaction levels, reduce vehicle downtime incidents, and identifying common themes to control expenditure.
• To ensure that department KPI's in the area of cost control, 1 Link, telephone response times and budgetary requirements are adhered to at all times.
• Actively participate in a culture that adheres to TCF outcomes as defined by the FCA.
• Contribute to ensuring that Fleet directorate is able to demonstrate compliance to all regulatory requirements and to highlight deviation from this at the first opportunity in accordance with FCA regulations.
• Carry out a root cause analysis of vehicle component failures and required repairs.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience utilising the 1 Link platform
• Proven mechanical skills and experience (City and Guilds Motor Vehicle Technical apprenticeship up to level 3 or equivalent.
• Previous Maintenance Control experience or Volkswagen Group Retailer Service Reception or Workshop Control.
• A confident and articulate, customer focused telephone and ecommerce manner.
• Excellent PC skills
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate technical information clearly too all stakeholders with a methodical and disciplined approach to working.

The Financial Accounts Technician is responsible for the accounts receivable (collection) functions of the healthcare revenue program including third-party insurance reimbursements and other account receivables.

The major duties include but are not limited to:

• Performs accounts receivable (collection) functions of the revenue program including third-party insurance reimbursements and other account receivables;
• Analyzes outstanding third-party receivables to determine the best course of action to affect maximum revenue recovery;
• Receives, processes and responds to a variety of communications generated by third-party payers;
• Audits, analyzes and reviews information regarding the established third-party receivable to discuss the status of the account when inquiry is made on follow-up;
• Maintains and updates computerized records of debts to document collection efforts and identify trends for management;

• These positions serves as a Financial Technician for the West Desert District in Salt Lake City, Utah and the Green River District in Vernal, Utah.
• Primary A/OPC for the Charge Card Program (travel, purchase, corporate, miscellaneous, fleet, fire emergency and uniform functions).
• Troubleshoots issues, while dealing with unreliable and conflicting information.
• Supports accounting and budget functions.
• Develops and creates charge card related training and reference materials for the district.

The Financial Technician supports NMAAHC’s financial management, procurement and budget functions.

In this position you will: 

• Maintain, monitor and track assigned accounts; run reports, perform analyses and reconcile official accounting reports; and submit discrepancy reports.
• Ensure proper coding and compliance with Smithsonian, federal and NMAAHC accounting and recordkeeping policies and procedures.
• Analyze standard procurement requests to determine required documentation, justification or modification necessary for actions to adhere to policies and procedures.
• Formulate budget and review requests for appropriateness and conformance to policy; perform data entry and analysis; and develops standard budgetary reports using various systems.
