As the Global Travel Risk and Threat Response Manager you will be part of the Global Corporate and Investigative Security Team. You will help to ensure Experian’s staff and assets are secure and to ensure we are able to deliver the high standards of service to our clients both internally and externally. This is a 2LOD role for the development, implementation and management of a comprehensive security risk management program for all business areas.
The role has key areas of responsibility, and you will report to the VP of Corporate and Investigative Security and have a dotted reporting line to the Head of People Security Risk.
This is a key role in supporting our Physical Security and People Security Risk programmes.
Job Description, reporting structure :
You will be part of the Global Corporate and Investigative Security team based remotely or within one our offshore centers. Your core responsibility will be to provide assurance relating to the security of Experian’s assets, its employees, facilities, and operations while delivering high standards of service.
You will report to the VP of Corporate and Investigative Security and have a dotted line report to Head of People Security risk.
The team is responsible for Insider Risk Management, Travel Risk Management, Event Security, Physical Security Assurance, Facility Risk Assessments, Workplace Violence Response and Physical Security Threat response.
This role will aid in the development and further maturing of our programmes.
This role offers a candidate who understands international travel risk planning and/or logistics and a passion for creating practical and sustainable systems the opportunity to assist and lead initiatives that will contribute to Experian’s organization-wide security programs and international operations.
The role will work closely with colleagues in Cyber Fusion Centre (CFC) team to support our Cyber Fusion approach.
This role is focused on being a business enabler and being able to support the business wherever that might be.
Responsibilities :
Management of the Experian travel risk program to align and support specific demands of our business while aiding with travel consultation, documentation, and mitigation techniques.
Proactively monitoring travel risks, country travel advisories keeping in mind our organisation’s footprint while liaising with the Head of Corporate Security – People Risk , other team colleagues and stakeholders to provide recommendations to mitigate security, operational and travel risks.
Manage integration of cyber risks and related controls into the travel risk management program, including international remote workers
Co-ordinate training and awareness campaigns on travel risk management and manage presence and resources on SharePoint and internal communications tool(s) relating to travel risk and threat management
Maintain strong, functional ties with our travel risk management partners and other vendors to ensure that service level agreements are being met while high-quality service is provided.
Manage 3rd party relationship with travel risk partner including co-ordination of RFP/contract re-negotiation as required
Assist with the further development and targeted improvement of the travel risk programme in alignment with the ISO 31030:2021 standard and to seek certification when it becomes a certifiable standard.
Manage, administer, and work within software programs used to support operational processes such as executive security, emergency notification, global incidents, travel tracking, booking tools, etc.
Aid processes related to drafting of protective procedures, policies, standard operating procedures to maintain and scale consistency across all regions of operation, while helping respond to incident/crises that could potentially impact the organisation’s assets and operations and coordinating an appropriate response with assistance from other relevant teams.
Assist in the development of security escalation planning policies from a travel security perspective; assisting crisis management teams with relevant information during a significant security event where expertise of the corporate security team would be needed.
Proactively perform risk assessments while responding to requests received from various stakeholders, to support international travel, helping in the navigation of risk controls and processes. Provide risk mitigation advice and guidance to decrease exposure to security, medical and other threats.
Maintain cross functional relationships to effectively analyse and contextualise threat intelligence that enables team to provide meaningful insight and response to relevant stakeholders to enable them to take better informed decisions.
Supplementary to and in liaison with the CFC Threat Intelligence team, lead on the internal analysis of physical (non-cyber) threat intelligence relating to critical security events which has the potential to impact the safety and security of our people, operations and facilities. Maintain awareness of and monitor where appropriate events and incidents via 3rd party Threat Intelligence and Monitoring products.
Lead on additional CFC Intelligence Products focused on people safety and physical security, operational and facility protection. For example, annual threat outlooks or specific briefs on corporate security issues.
