• Managing staff leave.

Art Director/Senior Art Director

Responsibilities

· To generate exciting ideas to fulfil clients’ briefs and to engage in executing layout designs for art work and copy

· To supervise shoots independently locally and overseas

· Independently oversee a project cycle; from conceptual to production

· Meets art department work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements

· Produces illustrative material by assigning layout design concept to artists and photographers; directing development of design concepts into art layouts

· Prepares layouts for printing by marking-up, pasting-up, and finishing layouts

· Have a positive attitude towards collaborating with team members and other stakeholders to participate in pitches

· Competent in bringing the ideas to life visually

· Ensuring a high standard of visual execution across all media and campaigns

Requirements

· Candidates should possess about 3 years of relevant experience with an integrated portfolio

· An excellent team player and to be able to work well with front-end/back-end programmers

· Possess a good eye for craft with the ability to work independently

· Good communication and presentation skills

· Strong production knowledge in TV, Print and Digital

· Experience on activation and in UI

· Experience in UX / wireframes

· Competent in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

· Knowledge on other softwares: InVision, Sketch, AfterEffects, and Animate CC would be an advantage

Supervises the creative process of large-scale design projects for some of the most renowned consumer brands in the world. Directs and supports the projects on various levels, from hands-on design to brand leadership and project management. Works directly with clients to understand the project scope and to deliver stunning and inspiring design beyond expectations. Mentors Senior and Junior Designers to ensure healthy growth and learning path for all. Assists in developing and implementing key design processes while supporting NiCE offices globally, as requested by Senior Directors. Superior communication skills and standards of excellence are expected at every step of the way.

To be considered for this position, previous experience of 5-8 years is expected.

• Commercial and working knowledge of 2D design and branding for global brands

An Art Director is a senior creative role at Leo Burnett Vietnam. Art directors are responsible to support the Creative Director and their creative team to crack big challenges that support our human centered approach.They create the overall design and direct others who develop artwork or layouts.

• Inspiring, passionate and gives special attention to every art detail while working with the art and design staff in the agency.
• Determine how best to present a concept visually.
• Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use.
• Determine the overall style or tone, desired for each project and articulate their vision to artists where the artist then create images, such as illustrations, graphics, photographs, or charts and graphs etc.
• Oversee a staff of designers, artists, photographers, writers, or editors who are responsible for creating the individual works that collectively make up a completed product.
• Ensure that the clients’ desired message and image is conveyed to consumers.
• Gives training and inspiration about good taste, new style, new art trends, fonts, layout and experience design.
• Review and approve design artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other staff members.

The Role:

We are looking for a Associate Creative Director / Art with strong conceptual chops and an obsession with craft to join our team. This role requires a strategic thinker with an ambitious spirit and the ability to champion F&B’s work, culture, and process. This person should be able to design and develop smart brand platforms and culture-disrupting campaigns, as well as mastering and improving brand tone.

As we work as a small, close-knit, collaborative team, this person will be expected to collaborate across disciplines. This person will report directly to the Head of Creative.

Responsibilities:

• Developing ideas and concepts that have a real impact on culture and to solve business problems
• Collaborating with F&B team from strategy development through production
• Understanding clients’ business and shaping creative that furthers it
• Owning projects from beginning to end and is the integral part of the project team
• Working across a range of creative deliverables and channels.
• Working across a plethora of media agnostic, regional or global client projects

Requirements:

• 8-12 years of experience making beautiful things and a portfolio that shows it off
• Amazing level of art direction + design craft and the ability to bring your ideas and concepts to life from an art + design POV
• All the organizational, communications, and project-juggling skills you need in a creative environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• You can work with other disciplines and clients to understand feedback and even take it sometimes
• Interest in working with strategy and other creatives to take a boring brief and make a thumb-stopping piece of social content or PR sensation
• You are plugged into culture and hungry to make work that takes over culture
