Pay Range

Salary: $66,500 - $95,000

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. The Senior Compliance Testing Analyst is responsible for the leading and execution of compliance testing engagements utilizing a risk-based approach in line with department standards to ensure the Bank’s compliance with applicable laws, rules & regulations aligned to M&T’s lending business including   Commercial, Business and Private Banking. Nature and Scope:

The position works under the direction of the Compliance Testing Manager and is required to exercise independent judgment and discretion utilizing a risk based approach. 

The position collaborates extensively with (a) Corporate Compliance subject matter deputies to gain an appropriate understanding of applicable regulatory requirements, (b) business unit staff and PCMs to understand work flows and processes, and (c) Internal Audit as a resource for review and coordination of testing plans and methods.

The position may interact with external contacts including Bank Supervisors/Examiners and peers at other institutions.

Education/Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business related curriculum and a minimum of 4 years' relevant work experience (Compliance, Audit, Business, Finance, Technology, Computer Science, or Risk Management), OR, in lieu of a degree a combined minimum of 8 years’ higher education and/or work experience including 4 years' relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated coaching experience.
• Ability to read and understand laws, regulations, and common law applicable to subject matter.
• Ability to exercise judgment and sound discretion, and understand when Corporate Compliance Management guidance is needed.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, having the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to line level management.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent software packages.

Education/Experience Preferred:

• Related certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, CAMS, CRCM or similar certification)
• Experience in regulations that apply to Commercial and/or Business Banking.
• Internal system knowledge preferred but not required, i.e. nCino
• Strong leadership and team building skills
• MBA or Master's Degree in an appropriate field.

We are looking for Senior Digital Testing Engineer to join the Autonomous Drive System Integration and Testing team. 

This position will be part of a dynamic crew that test, measure and maintain the performance and quality of complex heterogeneous computing systems that power automotive products used in self-driving cars. We are looking for a senior test Engineer to develop and execute autonomous drive digital tests to ensure self-driving car SW/HW stack meet high standards of quality. As a member of this core team, you will be working with highly competitive and motivated engineers. What you'll be doing:

• Develop and lead AD digital(SIL/HIL) test strategy, and lead the building, development, maintenance, and testing of HIL rigs, supporting verification at system or functional level.

• Develop new test methods for automated testing and design test cases based on function logic and system requirements.

• Support replay and simulation test pipelines, build vital tests, decompose requirements to test plans, drive implementation and real time management of critical test sets.

• Support the release function and generate the vital reports and qualify / approve SW for release.

• Review product/system requirements, develop test matrics, and establish digital KPI evaluation.

• Troubleshooting issues, collaborating with engineers to identify root causes, and contributing to QA process improvements.

What we need to see:

• Strong leader with 2+ years leadership experience on AD product delivery.

• 6+ Experience in AD/ADAS digital or simulation tests with system development life cycle, modern software/hardware/system testing methods.

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.

• Technical in nature and be able to zoom in and out of scope as needed from the lowest detail to high level vision of the job.

• Be able to influence and thrive multi-functional teams.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Proven SIL/HIL test experience for self-development L2/L2++ product delivery.

Your Impact:

As a Senior Analyst you will be responsible for executing control testing activities in line with the automated controls assurance framework for RBS, and you will assist the RBS Line 1 Risk teams embed effective controls within the throughout RBS by providing robust feedback where required and recommending appropriate enhancements.

Other responsibilities include:

• Responsible for data quality in various databases (including RiskInSite) across the CCO and RBS BU/SU risk profiles and monthly management reporting.
• Support RBS by providing a comprehensive and integrated risk service, enabling RBS to meet its business outcomes.
• Identify, lead and manage continuous improvement of the business control environment by using data to generate insights, recommendations and support implementation of new initiatives.
• Support RBS in optimizing their assurance activities through the implementation of continuous assurance (monitoring), automated assurance and tooling platforms.

• Experience in Operational Risk Management and Compliance Frameworks including Control design experience.
• Ability to analyse/identify risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions.
• Influencing and consulting skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experienced in auditing Automated / Semi Automated Business Process Controls or IT controls with a strong knowledge of areas such as IT security, Software development, Application controls and Identity and access management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think critically and analytically and use data driven insights to solve problems.
• SQL and Tableau skills are desirable.
