THE ROLE: Senior Designer

The Senior Designer is responsible for leading the production or marketing assets across various channels, including display ads, social media ads, out-of-home ads, website graphics, and more. The Sr. Designer leads the design of projects from concept planning through to construction administration. Senior ArchitecturalDesigner

We are looking to grow our core design team by the addition of young and keen Junior Interior Design staff who are willing to work hard, listen and learn and ultimately contribute across the board in our office. Our office has a specific emphasis on Hospitality, so we are a good fit for any young potential designer wishing to get into the Hospitality market and learn design on the international stage. From our Singapore office we work Internationally, including markets in Southeast Asia, India, The Middle East, and Africa.

Job Responsibilities in a Leading Role:

· Ability to lead a team and execute a project design to international standard.

· Experience to oversee and orchestrate with a team the full scope of ID documentation from presentation to technical documents.

· Able to work and contribute to a team environment, must be a team player.

· Willing to step up as needed and take ownership of meeting deadlines and delivery schedules.

· Must be creative, open-minded, and imaginative.

· Familiarity with Sketch-up 3D modelling will be an advantage.

· Working with the Principal(s) or Associate(s), shall direct, supervise, and check activities of fellow Team Members engaged in preparing Interior design write-ups, drawings and specification documents for Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, Design Development Phase and Construction Documentation Phase of a project.

· Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.

Qualifications / Skills:

· Large Scale International Hospitality Project Design Experience

· Hands-on Capability & Leadership in Conceptualization, Graphic Presentation and Development / Implementation of Hotel FF&E Design & Documentation

• Design graphics and visuals for our social media platforms, newsletters, and website, ensuring a cohesive and engaging online presence.
• Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, content and marketing team to ensure that your designs seamlessly integrate with the game's theme and concept.
• Develop and maintain design standards for the company, ensuring a consistent and high-quality visual brand identity.
• Apply a good understanding of UX/UI principles to enhance user experiences on board game design.
• Manage and oversee the printing process, ensuring that the final products meet quality standards and design specifications.
• Stay updated on design trends and technologies relevant to graphic design, UX/UI, and printing in the board game industry.
• Assist in any workshops and events that the company might conduct and/or participate.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience with a portfolio showcasing exceptional design skills for both print and digital media.
• A good understanding of UX/UI principles and their application in design.
• A passion in playing board games and a willingness to explore the world of tabletop gaming.
• Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and AI tools like Midjourney.
• Strong creativity and the ability to translate game themes and concepts into visually stunning assets.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a creative team.
• Experience overseeing the printing process and ensuring high-quality print materials.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality graphic designs that enhance the overall board game experience and online presence.
