Your main responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing leading and managing consulting projects to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions to our clients. Project Manager will collaborate closely with clients, team members, and stakeholders to drive project objectives and achieve desired outcomes. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, along with a deep understanding of management consulting principles and practices.
Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning, initiation, and execution of projects in alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation strategies to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate challenges and ensure project success.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, fostering strong relationships and effectively managing expectations.
- Conduct regular meetings and status updates with clients to review project milestones, gather feedback, and address any concerns or issues promptly.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Delegate tasks effectively, set clear expectations, and ensure alignment of team efforts with project goals and client requirements.
Quality Assurance and Delivery Excellence:
- Maintain a relentless focus on delivering high-quality solutions and services that exceed client expectations.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify key business challenges, develop insightful recommendations, and provide strategic advisory to clients.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews and assessments to ensure deliverables meet established standards of excellence and adhere to best practices.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and consulting team members to develop innovative solutions tailored to client needs and industry trends.
Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing:
- Conduct research and analysis to support project objectives and deliverables, including business case creation for digital transformation initiatives
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to digital transformation in the financial services and banking industry
- Share best practices, lessons learned, and insights gained from project experiences to promote knowledge sharing and professional development across the consulting team.
Qualifications:
You should hold the following experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (8-10 years) in project management within a management consulting firm or similar professional services environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading consulting projects, managing client relationships, and delivering results-driven solutions.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation trends, challenges, and opportunities in the banking and financial services industry
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred
