Qualifications:

As a News Center Director, you will be responsible for duties to include, but are not limited to:

Manages the operations of the VOA News Center:

• Plans and directs all editorial and managerial activities in the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) Voice of America (VOA) central newsroom.
• Oversees the production of programming and digital output that preserves VOA credibility, maximizes audiences, maintains the editorial independence of VOA, complies with the VOA Charter and Journalistic Code, and provides citizens with accurate and objective news.
• Plans, organizes, and directs coverage on video, audio, and digital platforms, including final responsibility for all matters related to programming, format, production, appropriate standards, quality, and tone.

Performs strategic planning and resource management:

As a Program Analyst (Deputy Division Director) you will:

• Provide program management direction and oversight of the maintenance, operations, and modernization efforts for NNSA infrastructure including planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of the infrastructure program for the National Security Enterprise.
• Lead effective long-term planning, systems analysis, and services to ensure a sustainable, effective, and efficient NNSA infrastructure to safely meet program needs.
