Role Purpose

• The incumbent is a member of the QC laboratory team, reporting to the QC System Manager/ QC Supervisor.

• Provide specialist technical support and expertise to work with manufacturing plants in cross functional teams to assist with troubleshooting, complaint resolution, process optimization.
• Ensure the technology for new and revised formulas are successfully transferred to the manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical expertise to the Engineering department to ensure that new projects and existing plant changes are aligned with customer expectations and requirements.
• Identify, analyze, and evaluate new business opportunities for currently marketed products as well as for new products framed in the oleochemical industry.
• Participate in the process of analysis and evaluation of new investment projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical role within the Oleochemicals or derivatives’ industry.
• Willing to travel to Indonesia frequently.
• Able to converse in basic Bahasa Indonesia as required to communicate and liaise with Indonesia counterpart.
• Commitment to a high level of customer service.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results through others, as well as the ability to operate independently as required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work with a vision toward continuous improvement.
