Your new role
Your new role working as a Marine Hull Account handler / Technician will be responsible for handling Marine Hull and related risks where you will work closely with the Brokers. You will be responsible for a full Broker support role as well as account management. Duties to include the preparation of MRC slips, endorsements for the London market, checking over all documentation prepared by the team, as well as premium processing and dealing with Xchanging. You will liaise with Brokers and Underwriters as well as clients daily. Other duties will include being responsible for preparing cover notes, debit notes, letters of undertaking and account entries for larger clients, as well as renewing cover facilities.


What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Marine Account handler or Marine Technician handling Marine hull and related risks will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have a relevant level of technical knowledge and vast experience in the production of technical documentation to include MRC slips and endorsements. Experience with Xchanging and familiarity with Lloyd's List Intelligence is preferred. You will also have experience using the insurance Global XB ideally, but this is not essential.

About the Role:
As an established Account Specialist, you know how to navigate through nonprofit organizations and learn how they are ran. You’re knowledgeable about your clients’ specific challenges and business objectives. You understand how to align our software offering to build a custom solution that your clients can’t live without. You understand what it means to sell a value based solution to and engage with C-suite Executives. Your storytelling skills are unmatched so presenting across multiple departments won’t be a problem for you. You excel in dynamic environments so shifting gears at a moment's notice and providing excellent customer service is what you consistently deliver.

Your Impact:

Success will be measured by overall performance in bringing in net new clients and expanding existing accounts, all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction

• Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives

• Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs

• Working in tandem with small business Account Executives to qualify new business opportunties

• Share Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers

• Drive growth within new and existing, assigned accounts

Your Experience:

• Minimum of 2-4 years of customer facing roles with responsibilities including; full cycle sales, new business development, or customer success

• You've built global engagement across multiple lines of business and broadened product support within an organization

• You have experience (and should enjoy!) collaborating with internal team members like Solutions Engineers and Customer Success Managers, Product Managers, and Co-Prime teammates

• Financial Acumen

• Solid career longevity

• Knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem is a plus

• Understands what an account plan/mutual close plan and how it leads to success

• Solid business acumen around forecasting

• Track record of success
