Job Description

• Assist to perform daily accounting operations including preparation of payments to suppliers within the credit term and any other payments as and when required;
• Perform supplier statement reconciliation accurately and in a timely basis;
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and process incoming telephone/email queries regarding the status of invoices, payments and balance of supplier accounts;

Responsibility of Position:

As the GIS Officer for the Forest & Coastal Programme at GEC, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical support on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications and tools for forest and coastal management projects;

To lead implementation of GEC projects on the community-based management of peatland ecosystem and agroforestry in Selangor and Peninsular Malaysia  including peatland conservation, rehabilitation, hydrology management, fire prevention and control, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, agroforestry and others are relevant including:

• Provide technical support on best practices on peatland and mangroves management and restoration as well as impact evaluation techniques
