We are currently in the look out for a Mobile Trainer that would contribute to the improvement of productivity within organization's team members as well as managing training delivery services of training section within HR/Training Department.

Job Functions

• Develop, implement and monitor training programs within an organization within approved annual training budgets
• Design, develop and conduct corporate induction and orientation courses for all new team members
• Effectively design, develop, coordinate and implement all other training and development programs for other train as scheduled and in accordance with the overall training implementation plan as well as each team member’s annual training road map
• Ensure annual corporate vision and mission objectives are met with training interventions whenever possible
• Actively search, creatively design and energetically implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance
• Serve as an active member of the Training Department’s team
• Assists the Training Manager in developing annual training and development budgets and plans
• Create individual development plans for each team member
• Create relevant new courses to close the performance gaps of team members based on complete feed forward as part of the post-course evaluation process
• Recommend necessary revisions to existing training courses as well as probable areas requiring training courses
• Research, manage, develop, train, schedule curriculum and assessment according to work requirement which include but not limited to WSQ, OJT etc with close consultation with Training Manager and respective Department Manager
• Review effectiveness of training and learning outcome
• Assess suitability of trainee for work, to discharge or discontinue poor performance of the trainees immediately

The Wildlife Rescue Officer will respond swiftly to distressed wildlife, caring for and relocating wild animals in line with ACRES SOPs. They work diligently, providing vital animal care and supporting rehabilitation efforts at our Wildlife Rescue Centre.

What will you do?

In our recent financial year, ACRES 24-hour wildlife rescue hotline handled over 14,000 calls to help distressed wildlife. The escalating need for assistance and educative rescues on the ground, necessitates a team who is fully equipped and able to deliver as much as possible. As a Wildlife Rescue Officer, your core responsibilities encompass wildlife rescue operations and strategic relocation efforts, meticulously aligned with ACRES's established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Concurrently, your role will extend to providing valuable assistance at our Wildlife Rescue Centre.

How will you do it? (Responsibilities and Duties)

· Emergency Response: Promptly respond to wildlife rescue calls through the designated hotline, prioritizing timely and appropriate action.

· Animal Care and Rehabilitation: Perform comprehensive daily care duties for rescued animals, including enclosure maintenance, food preparation, and providing necessary enrichment activities.

· Veterinary Assistance: Assist in the safe handling and treatment procedures for rescued wild animals, adhering to established medical protocols and guidelines.

· Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of rescue cases and daily activities, ensuring proper documentation for reference and reporting purposes.

· Coordination and Liaison: Collaborate and liaise with relevant authorities for the safe release and transfer of animals, following established wildlife rehabilitation protocols and guidelines.

· Wildlife Rescue Centre Support: Provide valuable assistance and support at the Wildlife Rescue Centre, contributing to the overall mission of wildlife recovery and rehabilitation.

· Physically fit to work long hours, up to 30 hours including stand-by at night.

The ACRES Wildlife Coordinator manages volunteers and vital rescue operations, ensuring the success of animal protection efforts.

What will you do?

The Wildlife Coordinator at ACRES is the driving force behind volunteer management, wildlife rescue training, documentation, and response efforts, essential for the successful operation of the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre and animal protection efforts. This multifaceted role will be responsible for managing and nurturing a dedicated team of volunteers, who form a key pillar of the cause that ACRES fights for.

How will you do it? (Responsibilities and Duties)

· Maintain volunteer database(s) by coordinating sign ups and hours clocked in.

· Engage with rescue, animal care, and international volunteers, clearly communicating their roles and understanding their expectations.

· Organise and coordinate volunteer training and events (not limited to rescue training, refreshers, feedback and appreciation gatherings)

· Through effective volunteer engagement, ensure that the rescue & rehabilitation duty roster has sufficient manpower and kept up to date.

· Prepare and maintain monthly reports and inventories on rescue, release, and rehabilitation for ACRES monthly staff meeting and compliance submissions

· Perform daily documentation of wildlife rescue records and liaise with NParks on related matters.

· Manage and respond to calls on the ACRES Wildlife Crime and Rescue Hotline, including cruelty and wildlife conflict cases.

· Ensure documentation of all admissions of animals at the AWRC and wildlife rescue cases.

· Gather data to assist in the preparation of reports, such as the annual report.

· Conduct ad-hoc tours for visitors/volunteers.

· Track selected animal(s) recovery through videos and photographs.

· Assist in cleaning and maintaining AWRC grounds.

· Assist the Co-CEO in wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release programmes.
