They are currently looking at recruiting an experienced Accounting professional for their Malaysian business operations based at their corporate business head office at Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya.
Roles & Responsibilities
This position will encompass both Accounts payable and receivable functions.
As Accounts Executive, your overall objective will be to work with the finance team with primarily responsible being day to day execution and management of AP and AR portfolio in the department.
The main responsibility will involve the following scope:
*Manage AP and foreign currency payments.
*Manage AR and credit control.
*General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliation.
*Liaising with operations and other departments to gather financial information and to enter these information into operational and finance system.
*Assist with month end, quarterly end and year end audit requirements.
*Prepare month end journal.
*Prepare cash flow forecasts/analysis on daily/monthly basis.
*Bank reconciliation, including multi-currency reconciliation.
*Ensure company debtor accounts are paid as per trading terms.
*Conduct credit checks on new customers.
*Issue monthly statement.
*Prepare reports on debtors ledger.
Requirements for the role
Our client is specifically searching for female candidates who would want to pursue and develop for long term career growth in logistics industry.
-Female in age group 28-40.
-Possess minimum LCCI Diploma qualification in Accounting or Bachelor degree.
-At least 2-3 years experience in handling accounting functions, ideally in similar logistics industry.
-Experience in reconciling general ledger accounts and foreign currency transactions would be an advantage.
-Prior experience using CargoWise advantageous.
-Intermediate Excel skills.
-Highly professional work approach and ability to tight deadlines.
-Must be proficient in written and oral English plus conversant in BM and advantageous if also Mandarin.
-Remuneration is negotiable and will be based on the experience and capability of successful candidate.

Job Description
Our client,an established international logistics and freight services company is seeking suitable logistics candidates with previous experience to join their operations team based at Kelana Jaya. Candidates with a stable logistics work history in quoting and liaising with clients however with no previous ocean freight forwarding experience but enthusiastic to learn this side of business will be welcome to apply for this role.
This is a non-customer facing role with relationship to other offices and close contact with shipping lines.
The primary purpose of this position is to manage and operate LCL and FCL shipments across national boundaries within Australia and the Far East region.
Daily duties:
-Receipt of all LCL and FCL bookings from clients and partner network..
-Prepare relevant shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading,Customs documentation and Certificate of origin.
-Communicate with regular update of progress of shipments to clients.
-Close interaction with vendors and overseas networks.
Requirements
Malaysian female preferred in age group 23-35.
Possess minimum a Diploma qualification in any discipline.
A good 2 years of work experience in sea freight operations or logistic coordination role.
Confident communicator,especially in English plus conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin.
Competent IT skills MS Office and internet applications.

About the job
This is a permanent executive level position where the incumbent will report to the Director of Operations of the group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing full spectrum of accounting functions independently. You will focus on managing month end accounting preparation of the logistics and warehousing activities, inter-company invoicing and consolidation.
The candidate must have exposed to full end-to-end cycle of the accounts payable and receivable activities and manage full set of accounts. You will be involved in month end responsibilities including accruals, prepayments and reconciliation invoices, balance sheet reconciliation, statutory reporting.
The candidate
We are looking for individuals (preferably female) with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience to successfully undertake this role. She must have the knowledge and ability to manage and prepare full set of accounts. Ideally candidates will have exposure to the transport/logistics and/or warehousing industry.
Candidate who will succeed to take up this role must possess minimum a Diploma qualification in Accountancy or Bachelor degree graduate in Accounting. Due to recent increase in business volume, the company is now seeking experienced Freight Logistics Services Executive who can look after the end to end Import and/or export Sea Freight process to join their freight operations team in Kelana Jaya.
The job role & Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for coordinating and assigning shipments/container cargo to the rightful destinations. You will ensure that shipments are assigned timely and accurately. The job will involve arranging export shipments from collection through to shipment, arrange import delivery and raise billing/invoices for payment.
In this role, you will be busy within dynamic environment so the candidate must be efficient and able to adapt to clients' requests. This is a fast paced role and applicants will need a high degree of accuracy and an ability to multi-task.
Line of duties:
*Registration of the job shipment into CargoWise upon booking.
*Booking of space with shipping lines.
*Prepare and issue invoices for Shipments.
*Internal liaison with overseas offices and other departments.
*Liaise with clients to keep them informed of the shipment status.
Requirements: The person
We are looking for female candidates who will have at least a Diploma qualification. She must be computer literate, able to operate MS Word, Excel and Outlook applications.
Candidates with 2-3 years of experience gained specifically within freight forwarding industry would be highly preferred.
EDI CargoWise experience is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, both spoken and written English plus conversant in BM and Mandarin.
