Position

Capital Markets IT (CMI) is the IT department within the bank focused on solutions related to Capital Markets. This includes Front Office (FO) booking platforms, Risk Management (RM) control and regulatory reporting systems, financial product and contract valuation systems, and much more. As an Principal Engineering Architect, you will be working within the Architecture & Innovation team with a primary mandate to provide architecture guidance as part of the Design Authority. In additional to the gatekeeper role, there is a secondary mandate to accompany local teams to define strategic roadmaps, animate the engineer leadership, and create technical architecture and pattern, domain models, technical strategy.

Main responsibilities

As part of the IS Strategy the Principal Engineering Architect coordinates the elaboration of the IS Strategy, in partnership with the Head of IT Division and the Head of division. You ensure its consistency with the global CMI and GMD IS Strategy and its execution within CMI – led by CMI Architecture Team.

To reach this objective, you chair the Technical Community, composed of the Technical leaders of his IT Division. Qualifications and Profile

Mandatory

• At least 12+ years of experience in Information Technology arena with demonstrated experience around strategic planning, enterprise architecture preferably in banking & financial services, risk management and software engineering.

We are looking for a self-motivated candidate with expertise in high performance digital design, DSP and mixed signal modeling join our cryogenic CMOS-based quantum control project. This candidate will work closely with our digital and analog design team as well as with the local physics and material designers to develop low-power, high fidelity and highly scalable control and read-out SoC for superconducting qubit-based quantum computing applications.

Job Description:

· Digital IC Design and system-level exploration:

o Lead and contribute to co-optimization between on-chip memory and DSP design and analog front-end (i.e. DAC, BPF, Mixer, LNA and ADC) to ensure high quantum control/readout as well as to optimize power consumption per channel

o Emphasize system-level perspective in the design process, considering overall system architecture and functionality

o Apply a deep understanding of cryogenic temperature effects on digital ICs and implement design strategies for optimal performance in low-temperature environments

o RTL implementation for custom circuit design using Verilog/SystemVerilog with focus on DDS, Filter and Error Correction Code

· Simulation, Verification, and Implementation:

o Conduct thorough simulation and verification of mixed signal designs to validate quantum control fidelity and digital-analog interface throughput

o Utilize FPGA in digital IC designs, leveraging its flexibility and reconfigurability for system emulation and architecture exploration

o Perform timing analysis and collaborate with the team to optimize designs for timing closure

• Publish research works in prestigious conferences and Journals such as ISSCC, VLSI Symp, A-SSCC, DAC, JSSC and TCAS-I/II
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to seamlessly integrate digital ICs into the overall system architecture
• Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports
• Troubleshoot and debug digital IC designs with a focus on identifying and addressing system-level issues
• Bring creative and innovative solutions to design challenges. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
• Test and verify fabricated chip using FPGA and other lab equipment such as logic analyzer and oscilloscope

Requirements: Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. The candidate should have prior experiences in IC tape-out of digital/mixed signal SoC and system level modelling and optimization using industry standard tools from leading EDA vendors such as Cadence, Synopsis and Matlab.

Primary Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

•    Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders 
•    Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise IT solutions and implementations 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•    Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
•    US Citizen
•    Able to commute to the customer site in Ft. Meade MD when required
•    Hold a current DoD secret clearance or able to obtain one.
•    Active Security+ Certification.

THE ROLE

Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Entertainment Makeup Artist to join our Entertainment team with focus on costume and character makeup. This position reports to the Entertainment Director.

           

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute makeup looks styled to an approved design for performers of events.

• Duplicate work on a regular basis  & within a team to ensure conformity and consistency in look appearance.

• Cooperate with lead artist or director to achieve the desired end effect when applying makeup.

• Work closely with a variety of performers in the application of makeup during show run, rehearsals, preparation, and show changes.

• Read entertainment department look books to ascertain the appropriate materials and the look required.

• Ensure makeup looks are photo ready and well-applied in day & night settings.

• Assist fellow team members with looks & quick changes during run of show.

• Assist in touch ups during events & ensure quality of the overall product throughout.

• Always maintain a safe working environment, conforming to all established safety policies and procedures.

• Document specific looks by taking photos or writing makeup sheets that can be referred to for future use.

• Perform other tasks and carry out projects as assigned by the lead makeup artist or director.

• Proper clean up, repack, & storage of all makeup & related items at the end of each show.

• Makeup artists may be asked to use & apply prosthetics or have knowledge of SFX techniques to achieve a desired look for some events. (specified role)
