Job Summary

The Sales and Strategic Partnerships Head , will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and strategic development for SSTL. They will contribute to the strategic planning of large-scale events, manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners, and ensure the success and sustainability of the organization's major events. They will collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives for maximum impact. Additionally, they will be tasked with actively pursuing sponsors, managing the sales process, and closing deals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy and Execution (60%)

· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for SSTL and its programs.

· Identify and cultivate new sales leads and opportunities, including engaging with potential sponsors for events.

· Manage the sales process from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring all contracts and agreements are completed accurately and on time.

· Engage and manage relationships with major customers to drive partnership value and ideation development.

2. Event Management (15%)

· Source, facilitate, and champion large-scale events, including GSTC and new major events, locally and regionally.

· Design, lead, and generate concepts for SSTL's major events, ensuring content relevance and competitiveness.

Participate in events, conduct interviews, and represent SSTL's events as the face of the organization.

3. Market Research and Competitor Analysis (15%)

· Monitor customers' and competitors' activities in the market and provide valuable insights to management.

· Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant information into sales strategies

4. Collaboration with Marketing Team (10%)

· Collaborate with the marketing team to produce necessary marketing collateral and provide support for client presentations and meetings.

· Provide input and insights to the marketing team to help tailor marketing campaigns for maximum sales impact.

· Assist in managing corporate content on the website and social media platforms to support sales efforts.

· Contribute to the development of marketing collateral and content targeted at driving sales.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· Minimum 8 years of experience in events management, partnerships, sales, and sponsorship, with at least 5 years in business development within the region.

· Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) is a must.

· Self-driven, ambitious, and willing to challenge limits.

· Well-organized with excellent project management skills.

· Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management.

· Versatility in building relationships with large brands, understanding PR and marketing needs, and tracking market performance analytically.

· Proficiency in another language (Mandarin, Japanese, French) is a plus.

The Network Specialist will plan, design and build the robust, steady and secure corporate network that meet the new business needs defined by SIM's vision. The two key considerations are: High availability inter-networking, Easy accessibility connection. The incumbent will help maintain and operate SIM’s Campus network services covering end user computing, infrastructure, services, cybersecurity and critical applications, as well as help automate operational network services covering unified network management and inventory management.

• Manage the IT Services at SIM to meet the SLAs and expectations of all SIM Stakeholders including SUSS.
• Understand, plan, design and execute the enhancements or expansion of IT Services to the growth and change in direction of SIM businesses. Examples: 1) Implement Network and network security products, platforms, software, hardware or appliance-based solutions. 2.) Unify networking with better control. Be it LAN, WIFI, 5G, IOT, etc.
• Understand, plan, design and execute enhancements and maintenance of Network Infrastructure to ensure reliability, security and service levels are met.
• Maintain network security across the enterprise’s global infrastructure deployments analyse network security threats. Monitors organization’s network for security vulnerabilities and investigates occurrences of violations.
• Develop new skills within IT Services by working with the people to ensure new technology/approaches are implemented to force the pivoting of skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering and/or Computer Engineering/Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Candidates should possess 5 years working experience in network engineering with L2-L3 network Experience. Exposure to security, support and operations of sizable enterprise and cloud infrastructure with in-depth hands-on knowledge of security practice.
• Understand and have experience in network-based systems, security infrastructure, security policy orchestration and network automation tools will be an added advantage.
• Experience in IP Router, Huawei POE Switch, Ivanti VPN, IPsec VPN tunnelling, Fortinet/Juniper/Cisco Firewall security management.
• Experience in WIFI Control Tower Management and High availability management.
• Familiar with Network Access Control Concept and Radius management.
• Knowledge of ITIL would be helpful.
• Open to flexible schedule, including night and weekend employment.
• Familiar with open source and other tools for monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
• Troubleshooting L2-L3 protocols and technologies, including IPSEc, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, VPC, QoS, 802.1x, LDAP and other TCP/IP Networking related issue and continue enhancing reliability.
• Knowledge on HP Clearpass authentication or relevant radius authentication measure
• Knowledge of VPN management and Zero Trust Network Access ZTNA solution
• Knowledge of Fortinet/Juniper Firewall or relevant firewall setup.
• Knowledge of Huawei Wifi and Switching setup troubleshooting skill.
