Job Description

The successful candidate will provide secretariat support for the Node for Impact of Continuing Education (NICE) and managing research administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the progress of various workgroups.
• Collaborate in some of the workgroup’s research projects.

Job Description

The Senior Research Officer works to the High Commission’s political and economic section. The position will play a key role in monitoring and analysing Singapore’s domestic political and/or economic developments, including issues in the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The successful candidate will provide research and administrative support for the various studies within the Office of the Provost (PVO).

The candidate should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as he/she will work closely with academics, students, and other administrative executives. The candidate’s proficiency in multitasking and attention to detail will enable him/her to efficiently manage diverse program administrative tasks and projects within specified timelines.

[Your Role]

As a Primary Science Teacher at The Pique Lab, you will be involved in:

1. Class & Learning Management – You will manage classes (online & onsite) effectively with a holistic understanding of your students’ learning needs and motivations
2. Lesson Preparation & Delivery – You’ll prepare for your lessons in accordance to our curriculum. In particular, you’ll devise ways to simplify Science concepts and highlight common misconceptions.
3. Publishing – You’ll share your knowledge by writing articles and producing videos, so that your students can continue to learn from you outside of the classroom.
4. Communication – You’ll communicate with parents on their children’s learning progress and make appropriate recommendations on how to improve further.

• There are two possible internship arrangements for this role: Part-Time (3 Weekdays) or Full Time (5 Weekdays).
• We specialise in Science & Math and will continue to deepen our expertise in these areas within the next 3 to 5 years. If teaching Science and/or Math is your vocation, or you’re keen to catapult your teaching career with specialisations in these subjects, we would love to have you.
