Responsibilities / Tasks
The Field Service Intern will work under direct supervision of lead technician in York to perform the following work:
Assist with performing tasks to rebuild/repair compressors such as: Compressor tear down, inspection, assembly, miscellaneous machining, metal spraying, parts cleaning.
Assist with basic tests of compressor bare block after rebuilding.
Travel with main field service technician to local customers to perform the following work:
Assist with performing maintenance procedures and warranty work on Company’s product line at customer's location(s).
Assist with troubleshooting and repairing basic electrical and mechanical problems on refrigeration systems at customer's location(s).
Your Profile / Qualifications
Attending technical school or seeking certification in refrigeration or similar field preferred.
High school diploma/GED required.
Flexible schedule, travel-read.
Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-driven, PC proficient.
Able to read P&IDs, schematics.
Basic refrigeration knowledge is a plus.
Entry-level compressor operation.
Ability to travel 25% of the time.
Ability to lift 75lbs (tools and machinery).
Willingness for extended hours, varied environments.

JOB SUMMARY:
Test setup and execution of development powertrain engines on a dynamometer and in a chassis to meet calibration, performance, emission, and endurance targets. Interpret data and provide test results to the Powertrain Development Engineers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop powertrains by performing testing, hardware development and assisting in engine calibration on the dyno to meet requirements for engine applications.
· Support development technicians and engineers as needed
· Disassemble and reassemble engines for development and endurance testing.
· Responsible for the reporting and documentation of all tests.
· Responsible for the quality and integrity of test data.
· Must be detailed orientated, able to keep good records, summarize results and write test reports.
· Maintains a well-organized clean work area and meets OSHA requirements.
· Maintain strict confidentiality.
· Other duties as assigned.

As a Fleet Technician I, you can expect to:
Inspect equipment brought to shop for structural integrity and other potential safety and maintenance problems.
Conduct routine and annual inspections and performs preventive maintenance on all vehicles
Participates in mandatory snow removal and emergency operations
Repair or replaces worn parts not requiring major mechanical work. Identifies and reports to supervisor any major problems requiring mechanical attention
Inspect primary and auxiliary operating systems for loose and worn parts, hydraulic systems for faulty cylinders, hoses, or fittings, and air systems. Inspect equipment for proper fluid levels, adds fluid as necessary, and replaces filters.
Lubricate auxiliary attachments, suspensions, moving parts, and wearing surfaces on equipment. Replace air compressor filters and air lines. Remove, repairs, and replaces wheels and tires on equipment
Respond to emergency road service on tires, tubes, and wheels of specialized and heavy-duty automotive equipment, utilizing hydraulic jacks and lifts
Remove and replaces sealed beam lighting units, light bulbs, light bars, and fuses. Operate all types of vehicles and equipment to servicing and storage areas. Wash and steam clean equipment and cleans work area
Assist higher level technicians on routine to complex shop duties and repair. Observe all common safety practices
Any one position may not include all the duties listed. However, the allocation of positions will be determined by the amount of time spent in performing the essential duties listed above
What You’ll Bring
We are looking for a candidate with some or all the following skills and experience:
An Associate Degree (or Trade School Certification) in automotive maintenance or similar a plus
1-2 Years of full-time experience in an Automotive or Heavy Truck repair within a maintenance shop
1-3 ASE certifications in Automotive or Medium duty/Heavy Truck a plus
Basic electrical diagnostics and understanding of battery, starting, and charging systems
Basic understanding of resetting vehicle maintenance service reminders including TPMS sensors
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Experience Requirement: One (1) year of experience in the maintenance of gasoline, diesel, and/or alternative/hybrid powered equipment or one year of experience in the repair of tires, tubes, wheels, hydraulic brakes, air brakes, and/or parking brake systems in an automotive repair shop or fleet department.
Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
License/Certifications: Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application.
Requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL "B") with appropriate endorsements by the end of probation.
Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.

In this position, you will be part of an international team of board-certified internal medicine residents, students, licensed veterinary technicians (LVT) animal care attendants, and student technicians who provide high-quality care for small animals. You will provide technical assistance for routine and complex appointments, case workups, hospitalized patients, procedures. Specifically, you will:
Organize and assist with all technical aspects of patient care/procedures needed to perform exemplary patient care and handling and support efficient service flow.
Liaise with other hospital services for efficient patient care and oversee each patient's diagnostic work-up, including equipment handling and monitoring.
Collaborate and cross-train with multiple specialty services to ensure excellent patient care.

What qualifications are required?
Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology
1-3 years of relevant experience
New York State licensure or eligibility to become licensed in NYS.

The majority of our teaching and routine care for this role occurs Monday through Friday, day shifts. The role of chargeman is to assist in planning, operating and carrying out any work that is related to electrical safety precautions as well as preventive maintenance. Responsibilities include preparing daily records, troubleshoot any problems with electrical equipment, installing electrical equipment, supervise a team of electrical staff.
