• Identify suitable outstanding managers and strategies as well as develop investment solutions to support the LBU product needs.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment strategies which includes EFM screening, due diligence and ongoing performance analysis to ensure the strategies are properly executed and the performance objectives are met.
• Liaise with EFM’s to do preliminary desktop research and provide the specification to Group Investment Asset Class Heads of AIA who will jointly complete the product evaluation and finalization of the EFM/Strategy
• Undertake regular performance monitoring and attribution analysis for the sub fund managers
• Propose strategy enhancements or replacements where required
• Provide oversight in line with MAS outsourcing guidelines, ensure compliance with AIA’s Investment Governance Framework and relevant regulations
• Meet EFMs regularly to get new product ideas and industry intelligence

Job Requirements

• Degree in finance / law / economics, ideally with relevant professional qualifications such as CFA.
• At least 7 to 12 years or more proven experience in the asset management industry, with minimum 10 years in product due diligence and manager selection and oversight.
• In depth, technical knowledge of mutual fund products and working knowledge of regulatory environment in Asia.
• A proven track record to identify product trends and to advise in the design of products to meet investor needs
• Energetic and strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business, operations and internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong, proven, product management skill.
• Proficient with Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, Powerpoint, Word, MS Excel,
• Great communicator who is highly proficient in English and Mandarin.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Finance, budget and expense management - Financial management which include the followings:

• Events Management – Management of Annual Awards Event.
• Appeals Management – Coordination and approval of appeals within Delegated Authority. Further streamlining of process and framework.
• Communication Management – Overseeing the dissemination of Infosheets, Keynotes, Bulletins and eDMs on company’s campaign, incentives, reports and important messages in a timely manner to the relevant sales force.
• Staff development, Succession planning and Performance management.
• Sales Operational Support. Management of eshop, festive seasons sales items (CNY Red packet and Hari Raya Green packets, etc).

About the Role

You will lead, in partnership with the business partners to ensure that all Risk and Compliance risk areas are efficiently and effectively assessed, mitigated and controlled with reference to the best working approaches and standards of AIA Group and its Business Units.

• Communicate Risk and Compliance matters including timely and accurate reporting and/or issue of such matters in accordance with relevant reporting and protocols
• Conduct compliance and risk reviews on business functions and provide strong support to the monitoring programme and assurance on the implementation of remedial actions on any non-compliance issues

About the Role

To provide management and the Board with an objective, independent assessment of the internal control systems through planning and execution of audit assignments. The individual will also contribute to management by providing appropriate business recommendations and assist in the delivery of overall audit plan and reporting to committees and management.

• Implement audits and evaluate the adequacy of controls according to established schedule and quality requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual audit plan and schedules, Audit Committee reports, monthly country reports and fulfil other regional or local reporting requirements.

About the Role

Provide quality and timely support of the Group’s financial reporting functions (such as day to day accounting function, financial statements preparation and provide support to local business divisions on financial reporting related tasks) in accordance to AIA Group accounting policies and its related regulations.

• A proven experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and solid grasp of Tableau administration/architecture.
• Proficiency in big data, analytics, database management, event driven, microservices, DevOps and/or machine learning operation in Azure cloud
• Experience with complex Data warehouse, data modelling, ETL design, and using large databases in a business environment

• Lead the ongoing regular development of business forecasts and analytical models to advise business decisions

Successful applications will demonstrate:

• Background and experience in a clinical area such as but not limited to Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Medicine, Exercise Physiology
• Experience with developing and implementing digital health solutions is highly desirable
• Experience in occupational rehabilitation or Claims Management environment within the life insurance or reinsurance industry
• Experience and understanding of public health and health insurance Being able to lead, influence and engage at all levels of the organisation

Responsible for maximising the sales of AIA products and services by selling directly to retail customers through infrastructures such as call centre (i.e. telemarketing) and online platform to meet individual / team quotas and AIA business objectives

About the Role

Facilitate and support corporate strategy shaping and delivery

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Strategic planning & development

• Facilitate company 3-yr rolling planning and budgeting, drive overall process, support decision-making and ensure final delivery of strategic plan.

• Support senior management discussion to set company goals, identify strategic key initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure it well reflected in the strategic plan.

• Prepare presentation pack for senior management as required on timely basis.

• Coordinate and facilitate branch planning and target setting.

• Other tasks related to corporate strategy per assignment.

2. Business review

• Facilitate senior management to do monthly and quarterly business review with Group, including meeting administration and meeting materials delivery coordination. 

• Be responsible for the analysis for strategy progress update.

• Coordinate and work with business partners for meeting materials’ quality delivery and provide constructive advice.

3. Key initiatives evaluation & implementation

• Facilitate key initiatives review and evaluation per assigned business function, working with business partners to better shape up business strategy and provide informative advice to ensure the effective integration with company strategy.

• Drive full-cycle project management projects, covering business approval, progress tracking, project closure and benefit realization.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• More than 6-yr of experience in life insurance industry or similar role in corporate planning function. Outstanding consulting firm is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Fast learner, proactive and motivated with integrity.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, esp. in PPT.

• Proficiencies: Working across boundaries, Communication, Planning and Organizing, Problem Solving, Business Insight, People Development.
