What You Will Do: ​

• Ensure consistent, timely and cost-efficient parts delivery to and from Asia Distribution Center (ADC)
• Support execution of ADC’s outbound / inbound transportation services, in a way that meets ADC internal/external customers’ expectation in terms velocity and cost while maximizing profit for Caterpillar
• Ensure invoices are sorted in good order for shipping documents preparation
• Prepare and manage shipping pre-alerts (ANS, BL, CoO,), dealer shipment reports, freight billing for export shipments to dealers / DCs before shipment arrival at destination to enable prompt clearance of shipment
• Update monthly shipment report, manage and update CRM freight bill reporting
• CRM Freight Billing grief management through close liaison with CRM support team
• Issue credit/debit note on freight billing discrepancy
• Close coordination with vendors, internal and external customers in ensuring smooth execution of shipments
• Close liaison with service providers/NVOCC on BL and tax invoice accuracy; troubleshoot and resolve rates discrepancy with service providers/NVOCC when the need arises
• Provide support on additional tasks required for special / emergency outbound shipments
• Support shipment booking and liaise with Operations/transporter on empty container movement when required
• Troubleshoot and resolve billing grief (if any) through close liaison with various support teams
• Manage shipping documents archiving

What You Have:

• Experience in supply chain / freight forwarding / shipping or transportation operations
• Familiar with shipping Incoterms and good knowledge of export customs procedures (Example, types of customs permits, HS codes, Chamber CoO application)
• Possess knowledge in dangerous goods management and transportation (IMDG / IATA)
• IT savvy and proficiency in using MS Office (Words, Excel, Powerpoint), SAP
• Possess good analytic skills
