Position Summary
The Project Manager will plan, implement, and track medical projects from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of medical industry knowledge and project management expertise.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Initiation:
· Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
· Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
2. Team Coordination and Leadership:
· Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams.
· Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members.
· Provide clear direction and guidance to team members throughout the project
lifecycle.
3. Resource Management:
· Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocations as needed to meet project goals.
4. Budget Management:
· Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that expenditures are within approved limits.
· Track expenses and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
· To ensure that invoices are raised as per agreed milestones.
5. Risk Management:
· Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
· Monitor project progress and proactively address any issues or deviations from the plan.
6. Stakeholder Communication:
· Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
· Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, milestone achievements, and potential issues.
7. Regulatory Compliance:
· Ensure that all projects comply with relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and ethical guidelines.
· Learn & understand client standard operating procedures & compliance framework to adapt our ways-of-working/ project technicalities.
8. Quality Assurance and Evaluation:
· Establish quality metrics and standards for project deliverables.
· Conduct periodic evaluations to assess project performance and outcomes.
9. Documentation and Reporting:
· Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and correspondence.
· Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.
10. Continuous Improvement:
· Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
· Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and methodologies to enhance project management effectiveness.
· Obtain regular feedbacks on company’s capabilities and suggest improvements in internal processes.
11. Business Development Support:
· Assist the business development team in business expansion by coordinating & interacting with industry colleagues and help broaden our client base.
Qualification and Skillset:
· Masters with minimum 5 years of relevant working interface with Pharmaceuticals & Bio-technology companies, preferably mid-management with client interface, marketing, and business development experience or equivalent.
· We remain flexible for top class PhD candidates if less or no experience provided, they demonstrate right attitude and aspirations coupled with commitment to succeed.
· Experience of project management, cross-functional collaboration & stake-holder communication.
· Familiarity with standard operating procedures in Pharmaceuticals & Bio-technology companies will be an added advantage.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
· Proficiency in project management software and tools.
· Ability to handle and manage complex project deliverables within defined timelines.
· Demonstrate independent problem solving and decision-making skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to travel overseas which may comprise of at least 30-40% of time.
