Responsibilities
• Carry out work relating to the HEOR business areas (longitudinal retrospective study using internal or external big data, longitudinal prospective observational study, cross-sectional survey of patients/healthcare provider/or payers, patient reported outcome report, etc)

As a core member of our LLM Global Data Team, you'll be at the heart of our operations. Gain first-hand experience in understanding the intricacies of training Large Language Models (LLMs) with diverse data sets. Through our carefully designed rotation program, you'll witness how high-quality data is meticulously crafted and used. After completing your rotation, you will have the chance to select your area of expertise. This will be your stepping stone to lead, train, or oversee larger data operation projects.
Your Role Will Involve:
1. Gaining direct experience in data production, including drafting, revising, and quality-checking, to understand the synergy between humans and data in LLM training.
2. Developing specialized skills in one of our data formats and content verticals, and delivering high-quality data independently.
3. Collaborating with product managers and engineers to assess and enhance the effectiveness of our operational processes, including conducting quality and productivity improvement experiments.
4. Leading one or multiple taskforces or projects simultaneously following successful incubation. The project management work includes but is not limited to: aligning between cross-functional teams to set quality measurement and expectations of a project, assembling a taskforce for specific projects, tracking and managing progress of projects.
5. Leading or supporting general operation improvement projects across data domains.

Compensation
Instructors have a nominal workload of 195 hours per half credit course.

Duties:

Specific duties such as: develop course outline; prepare and deliver scholarly lectures; create/administer any assignments, tests and final exam etc. within timelines noted by Chair, and in line with usual University and departmental practice; schedule and maintain student contact time/hours; be responsible for grading of student assignments; in coordination with Chair manage disciplinary, academic integrity for the course which may include grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.
The theory and practice of financial statement preparation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Complex issues including accounting for leases, pensions, future income taxes, inter corporate investments and cash flow reporting.
