The media team manages Panera’s paid media efforts in conjunction with planning/buying agencies. The Media Billing Manager oversees and reports on annual paid media budget plan, as well as overall Marketing program spend.  This position will require flexibility to work cross-functionally across Media and Finance, as well as Marketing leadership and external agency partners.  This position is fully embedded within the media team and will be the liaison between Marketing and Finance.

Duties & Responsibilities
Media
•    Direct report to VP, Media Strategy, responsible for management of annual media budget in alignment with strategic initiatives.
•    Manage one team member responsible for paid media budget input, plan adjustments, monthly accruals, and reconciliation.
•    Utilize budget reporting tools to manage ongoing current year forecast and actualized spend reporting for prior years.
•    Consolidate year-over-year Media spend reporting as a resource for Financial Planning & Analysis to generate café comp projections.
•    Function as liaison between internal team and external agencies to establish financial reporting requirements, resolve billing discrepancies, actualize post-campaign forecast.

• Develop KPI’s and insights both internally and with external partners to benchmark expectations and goals (analyze performance and share results with senior leaders and stakeholders)
• Monitor (social listening) social media accounts for insights and key takeaways for clients, and prepare various internal reports as needed for key constituents
• Coordinate social media strategies and rollouts for pre-IPO, IPO day, and post-IPO campaigns for Nasdaq-listed companies
• Maintain relationships with Nasdaq-listed companies and support ongoing visibility in partnership proposals
• Partner with Listings marketing colleagues to create and optimize social media content for paid and organic social media campaigns
• Assist in capturing/shooting content at live events and IPO celebrations, ceremonies and large-scale events
• Be open to appearing in and interviewing thought leaders, influencers and executives on video: in studio and via Zoom
• Aid in the process of end-to-end production and logistics for multimedia projects with the social and creative teams

Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public affairs, journalism, or a related field with excellent communication, presentation, relationship management and writing skills
• 6-8 years of experience managing social media for brands or publishers, as well as experience working with internal and/or external agencies
• Savvy user of essential social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, WeChat)
• Experience running successful social media campaigns (targeting, executing and measuring paid social content on small and large scales)
• Self-starter with the confidence and ability to propose innovative strategies, manage initiatives and come up with new ideas, as well as optimize content to generate the best results
• Demonstrates high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

• To support/lead the administration, strategic development, and flagship events (including research seminars/conferences).

Oversee Sales team

Responsible for generating business for Social events, Weddings, Meetings, Catering events, etc

Manage sales activities such as enquiries, sales calls, site visits and cold calling to generate potential business leads

Generate contracts, banquet event orders and event floor plans based on client needs and best operational scenarios

Work closely with other departments/restaurants and teams to provide solutions and service based on client needs

Ensure all menu proposals are presented to the client accurately & timely

Responsible for collecting deposits and payments based on company procedures

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all Sales reports and transactions for Management review

Requirements:

Preferably Degree/Diploma in Hospitality / Event Management or related discipline

Minimum 3 years food and beverage sales experience with an F&B company / service hotel / equivalent
