Job Objectives

Manage and oversee the day-to-day delivery of test services by Bank appointed vendors across the Compliance tech program i.e. AML-KYC and Transaction monitoring apps like ACTIMIZE

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and oversee the day-to-day delivery of test services by Bank appointed vendors in the conduct of testing across the Compliance tech program

· Works with the testing service providers and other Bank’s stakeholders to review, provide feedback and sign off on the test strategy, test plans and other test service providers’ artefacts for the testing service delivery

· Coordinates with the Test Governance team to ensure adoption of testing methods, standards and tools, and to coordinate any health checks or audits

· Ensures that any changes to the scope of services are communicated to the respective test service providers and the impact is factored into the plan

· Engages with various Bank’s stakeholders (including but not limited to, application, security, infrastructure, business), testing service providers to ensure testing services meet the banks’ objectives and demand

· Act as the first point of escalation for any issues raised by the Bank’s stakeholders, testing service providers

· Quantify, manage, track and report test related statuses, SLA and KPIs, and ensure that defined testing transformation SLA and KPI targets are met for the portfolio accountable

· Drive and collaborate with all the Bank’s stakeholders and test service providers to plan all testing related deliveries for the portfolio accountable

· Participate and contribute in forums, as required, to drive testing transformation and innovation

· Works closely with the Test Engineering Lead to provide inputs around domain specific test engineering requirements and ensure that they are met

· Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the Vendor Test Managers/Test Leads for the respective domains

· Engages stakeholder communities to get their feedback on testing service delivery and identify improvement opportunities to be fed back to the Test team

Key Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in computer engineering or related field

· Proven working experience in test delivery or equivalent role with at least 10 years relevant experience in large and complex organisations preferably in the area of Compliance Tech.

· Extensive experience in managing end to end delivery of testing services from multiple vendor test service providers

· Proven experience in testing standards, tools, processes & methodologies, frameworks, and various delivery methodologies e.g. Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall, DevOps

· Proven, successful track record of managing shared IT service development and/ or IT Testing Services

· Demonstrated success in developing highly effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver collaboration, partnerships and services

· Strong domain knowledge of AML-KYC apps like DETICA(Net Reveal) & Transaction monitoring apps like ACTMIZE and MANTAS.

· Strong attention to details, excellent analytical and problem solving skills

· Experience in managing multiple external testing service providers

· Experience in managing multi-cultural, diverse, direct and virtual teams.

· Experience in various testing tool suites like HP UFT/QTP, Loadrunner/Performance Center/Sitescope, HP ALM / Quality Center, Tosca, Selenium, JIRA etc.

· Must display a high level of professional judgment, commitment, integrity, and teamwork.

· Excellent client facing, internal communications, written and verbal communication skills.

· Testing or quality certifications, PMP certifications, and Test Maturity Model integration (TMMi) Framework awareness will be preferred.

Job Overview:  

The Regulatory Compliance Manager is a key position in the Regulatory Compliance organization. This position manages import, export and licensing functions and drives the daily compliance activities in Vietnam, also supporting Asia Pacific Export and Import Control activities. It requires a high level of Vietnam trade compliance knowledge so can make the decision independently per regulatory requirements.

Licensing Functions (in Vietnam): The Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for trade compliance duties in Vietnam, including import and export license determination, application, and control (e.g. Cryptographic dealer license control). Application for new dealer cryptographic license, new import cryptographic license, new import cybersecurity license and type approval for radio equipment. Generate and maintain metric reports and establish operational trends. Communication with NACIS on all licensing application and management matters.

Import Functions (in Vietnam) : The Regulatory Compliance Manager responsible for working with our broker(s) on import declaration filing : check, prepare and provide required information if applicable e.g. HS code, VN cargo description, matching with Vietnam HS code, Completion of Master list, Price; Product origin, List of machinery specification and accessories. Ensure Tech Data import shipments to Vietnam correctly.

Export Functions (Asia Pacific) : The Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for resolving potential DPL matches and work with stakeholders that these are not exact matches. This position also reviews compliance holds relative to strategic or controlled goods and based on the nature of end-customers, determines whether a license or government authorization is required to make the sale or the export. This position is involved in conducting risk assessment of end- customers and categorize them accordingly based on a defined criteria. The Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for analyzing metrics that track turnaround times in reviewing and releasing DPC and ECCN holds.

Responsibilities:

• Execute, monitor, control all Vietnam trade compliance activities, including import, export and licensing.

• Trusted advisor in Vietnam for all Trade Compliance matter, meeting with customs or related officer if required.

• Drive vendors, brokers, and related business partners act per process to fulfill the regulated requirements.

• Address DPC escalations relating to potential matches when screening new customers, vendors or subcons.

• Perform ECCN review and determine license/regulatory requirements for all sales transactions.

• Extract report from SAP system for DPC and ECCN Hold Metrics per month. Analyze metrics & determine actions further improve turnaround time or reduce DPC holds. Prepare other trade compliance reports as required by the department.

• Perform risk assessments on end-customers and categorize them according to a pre-determined criteria.

• Conduct import reviews based on sampling size independently.

• Perform quality checks on record keeping and chase for missing documents independently.

• Backup other APJ Export Control activities, if required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• 5 to 8 Years of relevant international trade, import and export experience.

• Degree with International Trade or Logistics field of study is required. Optional for candidates who has more relevant experience.

• Operates under minimal supervision within established guidelines.

• Good level of independent thinking and problem-solving capabilities

• Able to identify potential risk at trade compliance, if applicable.

• Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.

• Good IT skills (Microsoft office applications etc.).

• In lieu of a degree, High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of (10) years of experience in quality engineering under an AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control will be considered.

• Candidate must have experience working with non-conforming material, performing failure analysis, identifying root cause, and implementing corrective action.

• Candidate must have experience writing work instructions, procedures, and implementing QMS documentation associated with AS9100.

• Candidate must be able to review and interpret contract quality clauses and technical data and develop and document appropriate quality verification procedures, plans, and work instructions, including AS9102 First Article Inspection documentation.

• Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook) is required.

• Candidate must be able to lift to 25 lbs.

• The position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.

• Candidates must be a resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to the area.

The Test Technician will work on the Engineering Lab team that is part of the Unitary Products Group (UPG) for Johnson Controls. In this division we design, test, manufacture and assemble heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment for the light commercial and residential markets. Johnson Controls has two plants for UPG with approximately 1000 employees each; one in Norman, OK and the other in Wichita, KS. This position will be located in our Norman, OK plant and will report to the Engineering Lab Manager.

As an HVAC Test Technician, you will receive 3 weeks paid vacation, 40 hours sick leave and 13 paid holidays each year. • Prepare and install HVAC test units in the test facility in order to simulate field installation conditions. This includes but is not limited to evacuation and charging, duct connection, electrical connection, parts replacement, etc.
• Set up test facilities and connect data acquisition instruments according to general instructions and per test standard requirements
• Analyze test data and make modifications and adaptations to the test unit based upon analysis of the data
• Utilize computer software programs as required to run the test facility, conduct testing, collect and analyze test data
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

What we look for:

• High school diploma or equivalent and vocational technical training in HVAC is preferred
• A minimum of two years HVAC related work/education experience.
• Thorough understanding of the refrigeration cycle, including function, definition and /or purpose of the following: Compressor, condenser, metering device, evaporator, superheat, sub cooling, BTU, etc.
• Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in such areas as reading wiring diagrams, modifying unit wiring and controls, instrumentation, electromechanical troubleshooting, and modification of prototypes
• Ability to braze using Oxy/Acetylene torch
• Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on analysis
• Ability to lift equipment, compressors units, motors, sheet metal parts, etc., up to 50lbs
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems

The Test Technician will work on the Engineering Lab team that is part of the Unitary Products Group (UPG) for Johnson Controls. In this division we design, test, manufacture and assemble heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment for the light commercial and residential markets. Johnson Controls has two plants for UPG with approximately 1000 employees each; one in Norman, OK and the other in Wichita, KS. This position will be located in our Norman, OK plant and will report to the Engineering Lab Manager.

As an HVAC Test Technician, you will receive 3 weeks paid vacation, 40 hours sick leave and 13 paid holidays each year. About the Role / Job Responsibilities

• Management of external analytical method transfer and new product introduction projects including mRNA products to rest of world markets and new emerging markets/localisation projects.
• Liaise with customers both internal and external to support overall method transfer processes.
• Provide technical support to all new country launches.
• Technical author, review, and critique of analytical/regulatory leaflets for all new filing applications for established and new products including mRNA products.
• Address product analytical queries from global regulatory teams in support of new and updated submissions.
• Co-ordination and technical review of responses to agency questions on analytical methods.
• Support importation testing queries and support for rest of world labs via country affiliates and from packing sites.
• Support the implementation of analytical methods in Official Medicines Control Laboratories (OMCL’s) and National Control Laboratories (NCL’s) as part of product market release.  
• Technical/analytical support to Board of Health Labs and OMCL/NCL laboratories on analytical queries related to products.
• Representative/active participant on cross functional analytical and product teams.
• Representative at Change Control review boards to assess impact of all changes presented and follow up on assigned implementation activities.
• Support operations of the Quality Control testing laboratories as requested by QC management for example assay execution or data review.
• Support teams to provide QC assessments/information related to analytical test procedures/data trends/other analytical data as required.
• Support opportunities for Continuous Improvement within the team and embrace the company’s culture to own and drive any activities associated with delivering these improvements.
• Provide support to agency site inspections as required.
• Host visits to site from Board of Health Laboratories or other government agencies from ROW in support of future import testing requirements locally or as part of new product submissions.

• Perform and assist in additional duties as may be directed by QC External Support Manager / senior Manager.

About You

To be successful in this role you will require:

• B.Sc. degree in biological/chemical sciences, business, or other related technical degree or equivalent experience in regulated industry.
• Minimum of 4-6 years working experience within a QA/QC GMP environment in a pharma/ biotech company.
• Experience with technical elements of the analytical method validation and transfer process.
• Proven knowledge in analytical techniques, analytical instrumentation theory and practice.
• Proven ability to recognise problems with equipment, methods, software, procedures and resolve the issues.
