Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive Leadership experience in Renewals, Sales and/or Customer Success, preferably in a SaaS environment
• 3+ years success leading a team of individual contributors and/or other managers

Responsibilities:

The Role

The Director, High Velocity Sales is responsible for the overall sales growth strategies and results of AspenTech’s High Velocity Sales in APJ. The incumbent plans and directs all sales and pipeline growing activities including planning and implementing forecasts, staffing, training of the sales force, establishing short and long term goals in line with corporate objectives, and manages a team of High Velocity Sales Managers. The Director manages a team of individual contributors and people managers. Objective of the role may include a combination of renewing and growing the installed base of accounts and closing new logo business.

Your Impact

• Achieves assigned personal and team quarterly/annual sales quota and pipeline in assigned accounts and regions.
• Promotes the sale of AspenTech’s High Velocity Sales offering as well as enterprise token offerings.
• Manages day-to-day operation and oversight of team by providing sales guidance, planning, and rigor around forecasting, building pipeline, executing and following up on marketing generated demand generation activity, inbound sales activity and managing customer interaction through our CRM system.
• Articulate solution business value to customers. Coordinate and work with Aspentech Order Operations and Finance Operations to advance deals.
• Gather market information from multiple sources, to analyze competition and consumer/market trends.

• Effectively work with HR to drive and maintain a proactive recruiting strategy that identifies high quality talent in a timely manner. Evaluate talent against AspenTech competencies.
• Provide performance feedback on a regular basis that informs and motivates. This includes timely preparation and delivery of performance evaluations, goal-setting documents, informal “check-ins”, team meetings, etc.
• Overall ownership of the Deal Model process for assigned clients. This includes responsibility for proposals, contracts and pricing approval for licenses and professional services.
• Manage day-to-day sales process, coordinate account meetings, and effectively use Pre-Sales and Technical Support Resources.
• Manage to expected performance metrics, i.e., customer meetings per week, calls per day/week; activities per day/week
• Ensure timely and accurate input of required data into the CRM and time management systems.

Sitting within NTU, NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur) provides entrepreneurship education within the University and the region.

The Senior Executive, Communications and Student Engagement will assist the Assistant Manager, Stakeholder Engagement of NTU Entrepreneurship Academy NTUpreneur in designing, planning and executing effective multimedia content marketing and communications strategies, and implement activities to organise events and activities. The incumbent will support all activities to strengthen and grow the network and partnerships, between NTUpreneur, NTU community and external stakeholders such as donors, alumni, and industry partners.

Responsibilities include:

Implement communications strategies to increase awareness of NTUpreneur and its academic programmes

• Assist the Assistant Manager, Stakeholder Engagement in the implementation of effective marketing strategies, production of collaterals and large format print, videos for NTUpreneur.
• Develop corporate and student gifts as part of marketing efforts.
• Check and collate collaterals developed by individual department in NTUpreneur and check for compliance of NTU CCO’s guidelines.
• Collate inputs of feedback channels and generate report on a monthly basis.

Collate content for approval and update NTUpreneur’s website and digital channels

• Update approved content on NTUpreneur’s website and digital channels, and ensure all content is updated promptly with appropriate and strategic branding and messaging.
• Monitor the implementation of social media posts according to the calendar, and assist Assistant Manager, Stakeholder Engagement in carrying out photography and videography.

Implement outreach and student engagement activities and its implementation

• Carry out all outreach activities duties initiated by the Stakeholder Engagement department, assist the other departments in NTUpreneur when required.
• Provide administration support between NTUpreneur and stakeholders, coordinate the logistics, and other administrative support necessary for successful implementation..
• Consolidate inputs from different teams monthly, update and management the I&E events calendar.

Recruit Student Ambassadors (SA), engage and collaborate with other student groups

• Organise monthly engagement meetings with SA and ES to get feedback from the ground.
• Assist the Assistant Manager, Stakeholder Engagement in implementing sustainable student engagement activities.
• Assist in organising meetings with respective student groups and track project progress.

Assist in managing NTU Innovation Port @ South by implementing students; activities, and maintaining the facility.

• Implement all activities planned for the space.
• Manage and upkeep the space with Student Ambassadors and NTUpreneur team.
• Promote the awareness of programmes to students in the Port to increase awareness of NTUpreneur’s outreach and student activities.

Manage mentors’ bookings to ensure smooth meeting between mentors and students.

• Maintain and manage mentors’ duty schedules.
• Manage mentor booking system, update and troubleshoot where required to ensure no disruptions to bookings.
• Communicate to students and mentors on any changes and gather feedback on services..
• Assist in working on improving the mentorship experience.
