Key Responsibilities

• To work as part of a project team to support control system projects;
• To generate and manage engineering documents, drawings and specifications from vendors/customers;
• To monitor project resources, budget, schedule, scope of work and adhere to milestones;
• To provide engineering support to project team and customers, including field work as and when required;
• To conduct project procurement and vendor management;
• To provide support throughout project life cycle: sales, planning, design, integration and commissioning.
• To provide after sales service support to end-users;

Responsibilities

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering; Experience in Marine Safety / Refinery / Petrochemical Industry preferred.

• Good command of English and computer literacy;

• Knowledge with MS Office, AutoCad 2017 and above preferred;

• Driving local and regional initiatives to improve automation and standardisation.
• Implement and enhance processes within the Business Service function, from order processing to invoicing.
• Act as Project Lead on assigned initiatives, ensuring smooth execution.
• Drive improvement at local branch level to meet targets effectively.
• Improve productivity, quality, and efficiency across all areas of Business Services with clear impact on KPIS's.
• Collaborate with Business Architecture to automate reports/data required for operations.
• Identify and eliminate manual activities, enhancing efficiency.
• Maintain our functional roadmap and project management trackers.
• Generate monthly performance reports across all Business Services elements.
• Develop business process documentation, action trackers, and success metrics for projects.
• Specialise in the Customer Service specific area of the business service function.
• Own our CXone Tool (customer service communication channel) at local level and represent our views for development at regional level, ensuring all Customer Service staff are making the best and most efficient use of the application.
• Support the Business Service Managers in all local branches across the UK & IE and be a visible and present support on site for the Customer Service area of the department.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the engineer will work closely with the Project/Production and service teams and will be responsible various aspects of project execution and after sales service, system assembly, testing, implementation, remote technical support and service, onsite support and service, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company's strategy, commitments and goals. The engineer will work closely with the various teams to ensure successful implementation of the projects and after sales technical service.

Duties but not limited to

• Work with the operations team to ensure all deliverables within the projects, meet required quality levels, budgets, and timescale

•System Assembly, Testing, Shipment, Warehouse and Stock Management

• Provide remote support

• Attend to assignment according to requirement locally and occasionally overseas

• Carry out in house testing

• Liaise with contractors and customers to ensure on time delivery of projects

• Attend Local or Overseas Site Survey & Commissioning onboard vessels

• Prepare report according to Site Survey requirement and post commissioning

• Generate Bill of Material based on the order requirements

• Prepare Schematic and Termination Drawing in accordance to requirement using AutoCAD/ other software for project deliverables

• Liaise with contractors and customers to ensure on time delivery of projects

• Manage all communications on the projects and attend customer meetings

• Monitor and report on progress of the projects to all stakeholders

• Provide technical support to customers and colleagues

• Project ownership from Pre-Sales through to delivery

• Point of contact for deliverables within the projects, meet required quality levels, budgets and timescale

• Planning of installations and service jobs in the region

• Ensure that Project management software is up to date for project and after sales services related to contracts owned by Singapore

• Oversee documentation is updated, reports, drawings and other information is uploaded to document space

• Alignment between project manager, production procurement, logistics, sales and other project stakeholders

Qualification:-

Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics or equivalent

Commissioning and shipyard experience preferred.

Familiar with ships and offshore/shipping indurstry

Troubleshoot/ isolate faults and repair faults

Work on all other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Head - Operations from time to time
