CLASS DESCRIPTION
An Epidemiologist Supervisor oversees studies and investigations of complex and sensitive cases of disease outbreaks in Baltimore City communities. Work of this class involves supervising epidemiologists, nurses, investigators, administrative and office support personnel.
Incumbents receive general supervision from an administrative supervisor. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek. Work is performed in an office where working conditions are normal. Work requires minimal physical exertion.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
The Pharmacy Patient Liaison Supervisor will be responsible for client development, personnel and operational management.
Oversees daily operations of Pharmacy Patient Liaisons, coordinating with the clinical team (physicians, nurses, clinical staff) and the pharmacy staff, to provide integrated support to patients and pharmacists as a ‘hands-on" approach to total quality patient care.
Works closely with patients to deliver a full continuum of medication adherence support by utilizing our various tools and applications.
Encourages patients of specialty clinics to utilize BMC pharmacy to fully benefit from its superior patient care services.
Responsible for managing and growing an existing client base as well as developing new accounts to meet monthly goals, annual growth and annual targets.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
For candidates with high school diploma or GED, work requires at least 4 years related pharmacy experience.
For candidates with an Associate's degree or 2 years post-high school college coursework, work requires at least 2 years related pharmacy experience.
Candidates with a Bachelor's degree must have at least 3 months related pharmacy experience.
Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Board of Pharmacy in Massachusetts.
