The Job/What You'll Do:
As a member of the Growth Enablement team, this internship will focus on helping make our Sales teams better. In order to do so, you will be exposed to a wide range of sales-support disciples (i.e. methodologies, processes, technology, content and training) and teams (i.e. Business Consulting, Marking, Digital etc…). Our goal with this internship is to give you a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to run an enterprise sales organization and the technology they use. This role represents an exciting opportunity for a candidate that wants to be exposed to a world class sale organization, be challenged to think creatively and to create process and infrastructure that will support and streamline the sales process.
Responsibilities:
- Learn best practices for improving sales teams and processes
- Gain work experience with business operations in a financial services-related field
- Gain insight into how to successfully collaborate within a dynamic organization
- Support the Sales Stack (i.e. Salesforce, Seismic, Allego, Ecosystems, etc…) to drive more sales
- Work with various internal sales partners (i.e. Marketing, Business Consulting, Product) to align initiatives in support of increased sales production
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office® (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to quickly learn AssetMark technology systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication; technical writing proficiency preferred
- Ability to self-direct and manage time and priorities
- Attention to detail; must be accurate and precise
- Ability to work independently and be a team player
- A positive, team-oriented, can-do attitude
Education & Experience:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field; will consider recent graduates
- Preferred minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Internship Details:
Hourly wage: $16.00 per hour
Internship Duration: June 10 – August 16
