What is the role?

We are looking for a Unreal Engine Library Developer to join our team and partner with game studios around the world to help them integrate the mod.io platform into their game using our UE Plugin. The UE Plugin provides a simple interface for the SDK to be used in Unreal Engine, and includes blueprints and engine-specific modifications.

Your Responsibilities:

• Act as the subject matter expert and technical mentor internally, and for game studios around the world integrating our UE plugin into their game
• Ensure a quick, easy and successful onboarding experience, from the first technical enquiries through to being live in game
• Help design and build pre-sales tools including demos, examples, samples and documentation, that demonstrate the value of the mod.io platform

Responsibilities:

• Following best practice secure coding guidelines, such as OWASP, the team’s coding standards
• Remediate bugs, defects, and functional non-conformities in custom developed application software, currently used within the agency (Legacy Applications)
• Implement change requests for small to medium functional modifications or enhancements to Legacy Applications
• Remediate new and existing errors and inconsistencies with data stored in underlying data repositories linked to Legacy Applications
• Execute patches and proactive remediation for Legacy Applications, including.
• Working directly with end users to create effective solutions.
• Working on cloud capabilities including monitoring, software updating, and management of product line

Requirement

• A University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in development & application support role
• C#.Net (and VBA) programming, web server configurations (IIS)
• Hands-on experience in Windows Server, SQL Server, SQL server always-on administration, server certification
• Data masking/ encryption
• Automated testing
• Exposure to CI/CD pipeline ETL, modern stack (Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes etc), logstash, Prometheus, Kibana
• Knowledge in Networking (including firewall, file transfers, etc.)
• Experience in Agile / Scrum / DevOps methodologies
• Strong Knowledge of Financial Market Products is a plus.
• Experience or affinity with IT Risk & Security concepts
