Our client requires an experienced Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor / HGV Parts Advisor / Parts Advisor / Parts Sales Advisor for their successful Depot.

As a Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor / HGV Parts Advisor / Parts Advisor / Parts Sales Advisor you will reporting to the Parts Manager to support the Customer requirements both internal and external.

Responsibilities of a Parts Advisor
·Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
·Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner providing them with the information they need.
·Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner.
·Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date.
·Informing customers of any current specials.

Skills and Qualifications of a Parts Advisor

We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team at our Dundee Depot. You will have a minimum of 2 years commercial parts experience ideally within a franchised dealership.

Salary: £30,000k to £35,000k + Bonus

40 hours per week Monday to Friday, alternate Saturdays 07:30 - 12:00 (overtime rates paid)

You must provide the highest standard of quality and service; build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with new and existing customers. We are seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our client's team which is a large franchised commercial truck company, working within a fast paced environment. You will ideally have a working in the commercial sector but dealerships experience will be considered. Knowledge of Kerridge or SAP or any other Parts software is essential.

Monday to Friday with rotored Saturday Morning 8am to 1pm

The hours are 0800am to 1630pm

Basic Salary £28000 to £30,000 + Overtime (Saturday Mornings paid at Time & Half)

As a Parts Advisor will be responsible for:

-First point of contact dealing with parts enquiries and orders
-Knowledge and experience of parts and enjoy building relationships with customers
-Maintaining stock levels in the stores
-All parts to be recorded prior to the Technician receiving them and booked out through the computer terminal as soon as possible.
-All stock and orders to be checked against delivery and advice noted and located.
-All discrepancies noted and relevant action taken for credits.
-All parts requiring new location to be listed, locations given and entered on the computer as soon as possible after receipt.
-All paperwork relating to returns to be completed as soon as possible and returned to the manufacturer.
-To attend an annual stock check and also required to do perpetual stock checks all year around as required
-Ordering specialist parts as they are required
-Undertaking inventory checks to make sure all-parts ordered are delivered and are the correct parts needed.
-To serve the customer in a polite and responsible manner and to ensure that payment is made to the Company's requirements and policies at that time.
-To ensure Technicians are served as quickly as possible.
-Parts that require ordering are obtained as quickly and economically prudent to do so.
