Headquartered in Asia, our client is a company within the FMCG sector and has been well known for their high quality of products and their dynamic innovation. Although they are a fairly new company, they have established presence in Europe, US and other key countries in Asia Pacific. They are on a high growth trajectory and will require a high calibre Finance Director to lead its finance operations based out of Singapore.
Reporting to the CEO, you are the finance leader responsible for the entire finance spectrum. You are a key business partner and is instrumental to the development of their strategic plans. Your role entails overseeing the financial controllership, financial planning & analysis, tax, treasury and risk management. Ensuring compliance with local standards and working with auditors and tax agents is part of your role as well. This is also an external facing role and you can expect to interact with investors, bankers and government bodies to move the company towards IPO in the near future. You will also need to manage regional finance teams across different markets to ensure that finance operations are running smoothly.
Ideally, you should have a degree in Accounting or Finance with accounting qualifications (CPA, CA, ACCA). You should have at least 15 year's of post graduate experience of which the last 5 years are in a leadership position. Experience in a fast moving consumer goods sector will be critical for success in this role. You should also have exposure working with PE firms and knows how to manage investor relations effectively. You should also possess an analytical mindset with strong usage of data to drive business performance. Last but not least, you will need to possess excellent communication skills to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders.
The successful candidate can expect to join a fast growth, profitable company who is expected to go into IPO in the near future. You will be part of a senior leadership group that can decide the direction of the company and plot it towards its success.

Purpose of the Role:
