Abnormal sound and abnormal smell detection
Ensure the acid curtain is fully closed
Check for any broken formers and ensure clearance on collector trays
Verify the absence of glove residues in solutions
Perform solution level checks (including coagulant and latex dipping tank)
Identify and address any pipe leaks
Check tank covers, coagulant dip tank filtration rate, and water spray nozzles (water pattern, angle, and clogs)
Monitor former temperature and dryness before the latex tank Ensure proper defoamer levels are maintained
Monitor and maintain solution levels
Check and maintain former temperature for both coagulant and latex
Inspect the oven blower for worn-off belting or abnormal sounds

2. Perform routine daily cleaning tasks, excluding coagulant and latex areas, including:

Remove foam in the alkaline tank
Clean the dripping tray after the alkaline tank
Clean the round brush compartment
Perform routine daily cleaning of coagulant areas
Clean the coagulant filter bag
Perform scooping and skimming at the coagulant dipping/feeding tank
Perform routine daily cleaning of latex areas
Rinse the holding tank after use
Change the plastic sheet of the dripping tray as needed
Conduct open tank and filtration tests for both coagulant and latex solutions
Perform troubleshooting and necessary repairs for identified issues, or escalate complex problems to the appropriate team members for resolution.

3. Follow production protocols and guidelines while conducting patrol checks and addressing identified issues.

4. Keep accurate records of patrol check findings, including any repairs or maintenance activities performed.

5. Collaborate with the maintenance team and other relevant departments to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly stored after use.

7. Assist in the development and improvement of maintenance procedures and protocols related to patrol checks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification:

Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical @ Electronic Engineering or equivalent with minimum 1 years of relevant working experience

Experience:

Min 1-2 years’ hand-on working experience in related field. Experience in manufacturing field with ISO compliance and regulatory environment.

Other Personal Capabilities:

Listening skill to instruction, Independent, Execution skill, Observative skill, result orientated, decent troubleshooting skill and reporting skills, and good communication skills.

Job Descriptions:

To assist Production Manager in overall Production Operations direction to achieve continuous improvement in terms of system efficiency, product quality, productivity as well as cost efficiency and continuous improvement methodologies.
To monitor daily production operation in order to improve product quality, productivity as well as cost efficiency.
To initiate trouble shooting and countermeasures on machinery fault and defective quality discrepancies via proper planning and systematic analysis.
To introduce effective methodologies of process control instrumentations and chemical formulations.
To improve the stability of machinery performance via systematic preventive maintenance plan and shutdown maintenance project.
To compile the specification, technology and standard of machinery, equipment and instrumentation.
To ensure production operation, system and activities are complied with procedures and work instructions as well as reviewing when necessary to reflect the actual or rational practices.
To introduce effective way to manage, monitor, plan and control of general engineering spare parts, instrumentations and consumables.
To introduce environmental approaches and concepts to reduce, reuse and recycle of natural resources and conservation of energy.
To liaise and coordinate with internal departments or external contractors during repair, revamp or upgrading projects.
To monitor and maintain the existing SCADA system, insuring its maximum utilization and applications.
To induce keen motivation and discipline awareness, promoting teamwork enthusiasm and spirit in the working environment.
To encourage practices of cleanliness and tidiness at work place and to ensure the well management of tools and accessories and working environment.
To comply the implementation of safety rules and regulation.
Shall assist HOD/ superior to secure the environmental, safety, health and welfare of employee or any other related party against risk to environmental, safety or health.
Other assigned duties as required.

Job Requirements:

A. Qualification

• Candidate must possess Diploma or Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Polymer Science/ Mechanical / Electrical / Process Engineering or equivalent.

B. Experience

• At least 2 - 3 years’ working experience in related field
