What You'll Do
Responsible for overall growth and oversight of performance across key levers
Proactively identify, evaluate, and implement D-SNP product, program, market engagement and/or marketing communications strategies to meet Blue Cross NC’s growth objectives.
Support and manage development efforts related to the enhancement and maintenance of our current D-SNP products, programs and market offer components.
Collaborate with Medicare product development, sales, community engagement, and marketing to execute on membership growth strategies (sales/retention) including an annual go to market strategy, 10/1 sales readiness and retention/member engagement strategies
Review customer and consumer insights and collaborate with product development team to create holistic D-SNP strategies, programs and plans that effectively drive business outcomes and maximize ROI (segmentation, product design, communication preferences, messaging strategy and measurement plans/learnings).
Collaborate and execute critical activities such as strategic planning, complex financial/qualitative analysis and thought leadership at a departmental and enterprise level.
Collaborate with STARs team and Elevance to improve CAHPS
Collaborate on strategies for member rewards
Facilitate communication and present information to both internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including senior-level leadership, to effectively drive programs/initiatives.
Collaborates to evaluate strategic partners to provide innovative and market differentiating capabilities and may participate in the assessment, selection, and contract negotiation of these partners/vendors to support the D-SNP business.
Develops proofs of concept, business cases, market engagement and communications strategies and plans, detailed design and/or business requirements for assigned D-SNP strategic initiatives.
Organize, optimize, and communicate progress towards the completion of overall work portfolio.
Manages complex projects and cross-functional teams working on significant business strategies and opportunities.
Identify, analyze, and monitor relevant industry, regulatory, technology and market-based trends.
Coaches/mentors more junior staff as needed to facilitate execution of assigned strategic initiatives.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
5+ years of experience in related field.
In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Senior Press Officer

About us
The National Railway Museum (NRM) and Locomotion are part of the Science Museum Group of national museums which seek to inspire futures and tell stories about how engineering and the railways changed the world. We are on an exciting journey to reinvent and transform both sites through a multi-million-pound masterplan redevelopment called Vision 2025. The Communications team have an important role in bringing our plans to life for colleagues, visitors and the media.
We are now recruiting for a Senior Press Officer to join on a permanent contract, working full-time 35 hours per week. For this role you can either be based at the National Railway Museum in York or Locomotion in Shildon, County Durham, with hybrid working available.
About the role
As Senior Press Officer you will be an integral part of the communications team, generating media interest to promote the museums and delivering communications campaigns that increase visitor numbers and income. You will also assist in the management of social media and digital content creation to tell compelling and authentic stories about the museums and their collections, exhibitions and events.
You will proactively seek opportunities to collaborate with third-party organisations and media channels to reach new audiences and you will oversee press events, visits and media calls to deliver maximum media coverage.
We are fortunate to count the operational locomotive Flying Scotsman as part of the collection and you will be an essential part of the team that handles reactive and planned communications surrounding the locomotive's annual programme of activity. However, you certainly don't need to be an expert in rail or locomotives to do this job.
About you
Joining us you will have experience working within a relevant PR, press office, communications or journalistic role, with experience working on creative, integrated communications campaigns for exhibitions, events or commercial activities.
Crucially, you will be a confident communicator with good interpersonal skills, enabling you to work collaboratively and confidently with media, partners and stakeholders to achieve significant results through PR activity. You will be able to produce creative and effective PR and communications copy for a range of purposes and you will have experience of creating compelling digital content.

Nine’s Group Audience Insights is a team of 9 multi-disciplinary insights professionals including qualitative and quantitative researchers, research operations and data visualisation; providing consultative services in addition to the management of audience insights infrastructure and tooling for the business; such as audience panels, data collection and analysis software and knowledge platforms.
