Requirements (Experience and Qualifications):

• At least 5 years in sustainability roles or in multiple operational leadership roles;Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field or equivalent experience;
• Able to operate with minimal supervision in relevant areas of expertise;
• A team player with a strong collaboration mindset – including the interest andability to work well across national and cultural boundaries, and build effective working relationships within a complex, global corporation;

This is a brand new flexible position that has opened for an experienced multiskilled engineer capable of commissioning, running all technical aspects of a site and building a team from the ground up.

Over the next few months alone, they are planning to input millions of pounds worth of investment into manufacturing equipment on site in order to automate the bulk of the production process. The Role:

You will be working alongside the production manager taking responsibility for the technical installations and maintenance on the site. This will include a lot of project work and site developments including commissioning a full new production line independently. You will also be in charge of all training training for operators and over the next few years recruiting and building your own skills engineering team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in industrial manufacturing environments, (injection moulding, CNC machinery or plastic manufacturing would be an advantage)
• Able to provide evidence of showing initiative, handling commissioning / preventative maintenance / continuous improvement projects on site and taking charge of large scale projects.

The role
As Engineering Design Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. • Report to the Project Director.
• Review/submit EOT and contractual documents to the client.
• Prepare project planning and execution documents for approvals and submission in compliance with the relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Prepare project progress reports.
• Review subcontractors’ construction plans and programs and incorporate into Masters’ Program.
• Oversee the manpower and material resources to support the whole execution of the project.
• Oversee the overall scheduling of the project cost & quality to comply with the contractual regulatory and legal obligations.
• Organize/Coordinate official meetings or protocols between Singapore and South Korean authorities concerned and various project stakeholders.
• Provide periodic updates with project progress to the Headquarters and Singapore Branch Office

Job requirments:

• Minimum a Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE board
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience with A1 MNC construction firm, inclusive of at least 10 years as Managerial role is essential for this position.
• Candidate should possess relevant experience in a similar role for vehicular structures and road projects of similar scale & complexity
• Experience in projects with international EPC contractors or mega projects with contract amount higher than S$500 million is highly preferred
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project and ERP is mandatory for this position
• Knowledgeable with all aspects of the construction cycle
• Self-motivated, independent individual and possesses great initiatives
• A team leader, good interpersonal skills
