Job description
The Postdoctoral Programme Partner provides project and event support to the Global Programme for Postdoctoral Researchers. With 120 Postdoctoral scientists based across our main 4 R&D sites in the UK, Sweden and the USA, they are an integral part of our vibrant, scientific community, working on highly innovative, ground-breaking projects that originate from scientists and clinicians across all our research areas. Our postdoctoral scientists are encouraged to create collaborations internally and externally with institutions and academic universities. They are also encouraged to attend scientific conferences and seminars to present their work, which we expect to be published in leading journals from their subject area.
The Postdoctoral Programme Partner provides global support to the programme Lead and Chair to enable the success of the programme and to build AstraZeneca's external reputation. This individual organises events - workshops/poster sessions for postdocs and webinars to promote the postdoc programme. They also provide administative support to ensure that all postdoc progress reviews are completed, with confidential information filed and maintain the postdoc sharepoint sites. The programme partner works closely with the postdoc committee, that provides scientific oversight for the programme and is comprised of senior scientists from across R&D. They also collaborates with the wider Early Careers team to provide support for initiatives that benefit all early career programmes at AZ.
The position (which is based in Cambridge) reports to the Associate Director, Global Programme for Postdoctoral Researchers and sits within the wider Early Careers team in BioPharma R&D
Typical Accountabilities
Leads the organization of events (organizing workshops/poster sessions for postdocs making the best use of both face-to-face and virtual technology).
Manages the budget for events.
Promotes the Postdoc Programme by organizing external webinars inviting universities to attend, arranging speakers for university-organized events and attending careers fairs organized by universities.
Maintains the SharePoint sites dedicated to the postdocs and the Postdoc Committee.
Provides administrative support ensuring that all individual postdoc progress reviews (at 1M, 6M, 18M and 24M) are completed and documents filed accordingly.
Secures and trains mentors and buddies for the programme and acts as a point of contact for supervisors, mentors, buddies and the early talent community.
Creates and manages all programme distribution lists.
Provides meeting minutes for committee meetings.
Assists with the process to choose new postdoc projects.
Provides direct support to the Associate Director of the Programme, Chair of the Committee, 19 Committee members and 10 postdoc representatives across main R&D sites.
Manages workload autonomously to ensure that agreed targets are met.
Liaises with colleagues from other teams with the purpose of discussing programme improvements, sharing experiences and reporting progress.
Develops own level of competency by attending workshops, e-learning, conferences and internal/external networking events.
5% travel required to Sweden offices to conduct F2F meetings with postdocs, supervisors and committee members.

Job Description
Working within well established guidelines and with readily available higher level support. THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL DO
The IT Senior Business Analyst will be performing a hybrid role as an IT Business Analyst and IT Business Partner in supporting the Global Supply Chain function within Operations with a specific focus on Product Security. The Product Security team sets the strategy, standards, and governance to ensure the security of AstraZeneca products are not compromised at any point in the supply chain.
The Senior Business Analyst has deep practical experience in the role, with repeated practice performing business analysis and design in a variety of complex situations, working strategically at an enterprise level on large scale business change with high levels complexity and risk. The Senior Business Analyst operates with a high level of interactive communication to set clear direction for others, demonstrating high levels of inclusion and cultural sensitivity.
The Senior Business Analyst will also support Business Partnering activities by building strong strategic relationships with senior partners and developing a deep understanding of the short-term and long-term business direction. This role will also shape and define cases (with business stakeholdpartnerse business process design and ensure that proposed solutions meet established AstraZeneca quality and compliance standards, and customer experience needs.
Additionally, the Senior Business Analyst is expected to support the business with UAT preparation and coordination with development teams with necessary tools, knowledge, and data so they can perform their task smoothly.
